Description

The Alcove at Luray is a beautiful retreat for large families, and groups. The large home is on 6 acres of land, has 4 fire pits, 2 grills, and lots of open land. The home also features a large wrap around deck with magnificent 360 degree views and a screened front porch. They are both great for enjoying the stunning morning sunrise.

Our location is convenient to groups visiting local attractions such as Luray Caverns, Shenandoah National Park, Shenandoah Valley river, skiing resorts, old town Luray, etc.. These are just a few of the many places to visit locally and are only minutes away from the home. You Will Enjoy the Home Privately Along With All Amenities.

The home is equipped with a Chef's Kitchen, 2nd kitchenette, two dining rooms, 2 huge living rooms (we have seated 12 to 24 in each), screened porch, covered porch, wrap around deck. The house has a total of eight bedrooms (12 queen beds and 6 sleeper sofa’s in total), 2 are master bedrooms and 6 are bedrooms with Jack and Jill bathrooms, a total of 5 1/2 bath rooms. Family rooms include large screen TV’s with cable channels, and 3 of 8 bedrooms have cable and flat screen TV’s. Along with the abundance of seating in the spacious family rooms, there are plenty of board games, card games, and other family fun diversions. The outdoors and the 6 acres of land surround the property is very beautiful. Three fire pits on the property, each with their own view and atmosphere. One- located up the hill, stunning views of the mountains and sunrise, One- under the shade of trees of fruits, and the main fire pit is in the back yard by the deck, the grill, and pond, this fire pit has mountain views and a view of our backyard neighbors farm of live cattle (amazing). We have 4 foldable outdoor tables for our guest to set up picnic anywhere on the property.

Our home set up and layout is uniquely decorative. The 5,500 sqft home is all one level and extends all the way back, so the front appears to be a small family modest home. You get both a warm cozy homey feel and a bed and breakfast feel the whole family can enjoy. The Alcove is the perfect place to spend your vacation, with its relaxing and picturesque atmosphere.

The Alcove at Luray is Family Owned and Managed. We Are Local and Just a Phone Call Away. We handle all of our bookings-no property manager and we like to talk to guests before they make their reservations, in case you have any questions. Give us a call.
