Response from the manager Thank you for booking with Best of Wales and your lovely comments. I have stayed in the cottage which has the most amazing views. It is at the end of the lane which makes it very peaceful and an escape from every day life. It is spacious and provides opportunities for the whole family to gather or disappear to play in the games room. I am sure that our property owner will be very pleased to hear that you felt welcome and that they were helpful. Machynlleth has some lovely local shops and lots of places to enjoy a coffee and cake as you browse. It is an short journey to the coast and so you have the best of both worlds. Hope to welcome you back again soon Regards Suzanne

“Home away from home with wonderful play area for the younger children, perfect in every way!”

Reviewed 12 Apr 2017

Rhyd y Gorlan is an absolute stunning cottage nestled in some of the most beautiful Countryside that we’ve ever seen, quite stunning! The cottage is very well equipped and plenty room for a comfortable stay, the outside play area was just perfect for the younger children which is safe and secure giving us parents a chance to just sit-back and relax enjoying the beautiful Country side over a glass wine or 2. Plenty of nearby attractions in easy reach, we travelled to both beaches which were just stunning..

Response from the manager Thank you for your lovely comments and booking with Best of Wales. Great to hear that the whole family had such a good time. The scenery is stunning and with views across to Cadair Idris, it really is pretty special. Given it is the last property on the road, it is secluded and provides time and space to enjoy that glass of wine. It gives options of visiting the country and coast, which is a great combination. Be great to see you again soon Suzanne - Best of Wales Team

Response from the manager Thank you for your lovely comments and booking with Best of Wales. I visited the cottage and sampled the scones, they really are lovely and eat outside to enjoy the stunning views. The local town of Machynlleth offers lots of lovely local produce in the market but maybe the local pub is just about all you need. Be great to welcome you back soon Suzanne- Best of Wales Team
