Description

Our beautiful home is nestled on 1.5 acres of natural wooded land with spectacular views overlooking the emerald waters of Norris Lake. Situated on Lakeshore Drive in the Hickory Star area it is convenient to the town Maynardville and the Greater Knoxville area only 20 minutes away.

Our home has just been completely remodeled from the studs out and including all new Kitchen, 4 Bedrooms, 3 Full Bathrooms, large living area upstairs and downstairs, front and rear decks overlooking the water and outdoor grilling area. Including the sleeper sofas our home can easily sleep 8-10 adults and with another 2-4 kids (10-12 total). Includes over 3,100 SF all for your enjoyment.

There are newly built wooden steps down to the lake and a substantial covered dock with boat slip for your use. This boat dock is complete with electricity and great for night fishing right from the dock. The dock is also a great place to swim. The water is deep in this part of the lake which is great for fishing and swimming and is accessible by boat 365 days a year. Yippiee! Best of all, the dock is all yours!

Our home makes for a great retreat for a larger family, several couples, or even a small church group. You are just a short car or boat ride from Hickory Star Marina and Bubba Brew's (a popular hangout & marina on Norris). Jet skis, fishing & ski boats are all available for rent through either of the marinas. If you're looking for an escape in a secluded spot for the perfect vacation or getaway, this is your place!

Some of our favorite things are the upper balcony that is shaded until mid morning and again by mid afternoon making it excellent for that morning coffee or late afternoon wine & cheese. The front deck has a landing area with gas grill for those evening grill sessions. It is also complete with a fire pit area for those cool evenings and Smore sessions. The downstairs den area is a perfect hangout for movie night (55” HD TV). The real showstoppers are the spectacular views, the great kitchen with outside grill area and the large dock that makes for a great place to kick back and enjoy a cocktail.
