Description

A beautiful modern 1 bedroom apartment in the popular tourist town of Oban. Fresh and comfortable with an open plan kitchen/dining area/living area and large windows overlooking Stevenson Street in the town centre.

The bedroom has a double bed with an orthopaedic anti-allergy mattress, large window facing to the front of the building, dark oak laminate flooring, a convector heater and a built in closet. The bedroom has a wall mounted tv with freeview and built in DVD player.

The bathroom is fresh and has tile-effect laminate flooring, a full sized bath with electric shower above and a fan heater.

The living area has a large L shaped sofa and two leather bean bags. There is a 32" flat screen LED TV mounted on the wall with a built in DVD player. The living area is bright and comfortable with a full height window to the front and dark oak laminate flooring. Adjacent to the living area there is a dining table and 4 chairs and a large electric storage heater.

There is a modern fitted kitchen with a cooker and ceramic hobs, an integrated fridge with freezer compartment, a washer/dryer, a microwave, kettle, toaster and all utensils, pots and pans as you would expect.

WiFi is available throughout the flat. Bedding and towels are provided along with tea, coffee, sugar, hand soap, cleaning materials and a welcome pack with goodies.

Breakfast is provided and the flat can also be provisioned upon request.

Lovely apartment all you need under the one roof. Met Michael's wife with keys. Weather was lovely. Some lovely restaurants in oban or just cook at apartment all amenities there for you. Lovely touch from host bottle of wine on arrival thank you. Will defo be back in the near future.

“nice flat but could do better”

The flat was in a great location near to everything and Oban was great, Parking was a nightmare in all of Oban, but a good selling point for the owner would be a permit for the renters which other people in the street have. The flat can sleep 4 with a sofa bed, but is better for 2 people as kitchen utensils are pretty sparse, no tea towels or hand soap and toaster only worked intermittently. All in all was an OK place to stay for the weekend, but the communal entrance area and the stairs needs a good clean as does the windows, it looks like they have not been cleaned for months. Nice welcome from the owner but a few other minor touches in the flat would make it a great property.

Unfortunately the council will not issue parking permits for us to use for guests, so for the moment all we can do is direct people to the closest free parking, which sometimes can be busy. Will deal with all points raised this week. Thanks again.
