“A wonderful Sardinian hideaway we didn't want to leave” This beautiful villa in the Sardinian countryside is the perfect place to escape to and forget about work and hectic city life. The villa is beautifully laid out, with a spacious bedroom and a wonderful outdoor verandah where we ate breakfast, drank fresh coffee in the evenings or simply lazed around on the sofas. It was spotlessly clean when we arrived and has all the modern comforts. The setting is just perfect, close enough to the sea and white sandy beaches and the nearby towns, but far enough to be able to leave it all behind. The views of the mountains from the house are spectacular and the large garden is filled with palms and lots of little spots in which to escape. Picking fresh tomatoes and basil from the garden to make a fresh pasta sauce was a real novelty for me. There are lots of good places to eat in la Calette and Siniscola and the Sea Shop in La Caletta has the most amazing deli counter. The pictures on the web do not do this place justice at all. This villa is especially well suited to couples, especially if you want to spend some quality time together. My husband and I absolutely loved the villa and had one of our best holidays. We have recommended it to friends and family. Booking was hassle-free by email and the best recommendation I can give anybody is to say we didn't want to leave.
