6 bedroom 5 bath log home with an amazing view of the surrounding mountains

Alaska Knotty Pine B&B is a newly constructed 3600 sq ft log home, on 8 acres occupied by guests only. We desire to make you comfortable & enable you to enjoy the great outdoors-even from indoors. We have a spectacular view of the surrounding mountains. A sense of coming home greets you as you step into the spacious living room, vaulted ceilings & artistically designed red wood on all the walls. Fully equipped kitchen for your self serve breakfast. We are 58 minutes north of Anchorage. We look forward to sharing our home and amazing Matanuska Valley with you!

For 22 years we have called Alaska home, and living here is a privilege we appreciate every day. We hope your stay in our home will give you the same sense of peace and joy.

Privacy is key at Knotty Pine Bed and Breakfast. Our B and B is a newly constructed home, used for guests only.

Some of our additional features include our living room enhanced by a vaulted ceiling, our handcrafted diamond willow staircase, and soft leather couches. Our fully equipped, custom kitchen is also open to all guests. Breakfast is self-served by the guests from 6:00 am to 11:00 pm. Fresh foods will be restocked daily.

Getting around

From Anchorage - Take the highway north out of Anchorage. Take the Palmer exit. Go past the fair grounds and through the first light (McDonalds on left side Go thru the second light. Turn right at the third light onto East Arctic.After you turn there will be a Fred Meyers fuel on the right. Drive through the town until you cross the river. Look for a green sign on the right that says Clark Wolverine Turn left at Clark Wolverine Road… start up the mountain. Go 0.7 miles and turn left at the first T Go 0.8 miles and turn right at the next T Go .3 miles and turn into our driveway

Interaction with guest

We do not have a lot of interaction with our guest. We provide you with remote access code and detailed instructions for entering our home. But we are always available and love to answer questions and help with any needs. Breakfast is self-served and is restock daily.

How do damage deposits work?

If Moses (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
