Description
The Villa, nestled in a quiet private wood, can accommodate up to 14+6 people in over 400 square meters of space. There are 7 double bedrooms, 1 single room, 8 bathrooms, two lounges with fireplace, panoramic veranda and kitchen furnished with steel furnitures.
The swimming pool, open from April to October, is heated by a biomass boiler and solar panels.
In the garden there are tables to eat outside, bbq and the wood oven is just in front of the main door.
The Golf course, and its club house with bar and restaurant bordering the farm, can be reached on foot in 10 minutes.
The villa is the perfect place to spend a holiday with your family or in a group. At the Villa you can choose a completely private vacation but, at the same time, you can enjoy many “private hotel” services such as a personal chef, cleaning personnel, cooking classes, baby sitting and much more.
The Farmhouse “Fattoria la Vecchia Quercia “ has been awarded the maximum classification attainable “tre spighe” (literally 3 ears of wheat)

Fattoria La Vecchia Quercia", with its 80 acres, is situated in a privileged position, with a view overlooking the ancient castles of the Casentino valley: Poppi, Romena, the fortress of Bibbiena and La Verna. The surrounding area, rich in history and culture, is the ideal base for daily excursions in the Chianti area and in the cities of Florence and Siena.
The love of the land and local traditions have guided the owners, who have been active in environmental and agricultural issues for over eight generations, in the restoration of the farmhouse (which dates back to the eighteenth century) and its agricultural annexes. Traditional Tuscan materials such as wood, stone and terracotta together create a villa which combines modern comforts such as heated pool, satellite T.V., internet WI-Fi connection with the authentic taste of a rural Tuscan villa.

“Tuscan perfection!”
I cannot rate this property highly enough. Not only is it stunningly beautiful to look at it is extremely comfortable to stay in! The rooms are all lovely with good beds, screens on the windows and private or en-suite bathrooms. The kitchen is well equipped and the choice of dining locations is superb! The property also boasts lots of lovely seating areas with a choice of sun or shade. The views from the property are exceptional and the grounds beautiful. The pool is excellent and kept spotlessly clean. To top it all, Francesca and her family couldn't be more friendly and welcoming. It really does have it all!
