"SPECIAL OFFERS FOR SUMMER 2020" Five bedrooms, 4 double bedrooms and one bedroom with two single beds, 3 full bathrooms each with a shower. Large living room with stereo, CD, SAT TV and a large fireplace.
Many outdoor eating areas - overlooking the castle, overlooking the pool and overlooking the surrounding Tuscan scenery. Villa La Casina is really close to Poppi, about 4km, one of the most beautiful castles in Italy and from the terrace you have a wonderful view of the castle, imposing on the top of a hill. Casentino National Park with its secular forest grown up over the high mountain is right behind it. This is the place where the river Arno rises before flowing down to Florence and Pisa

The interiors of the villa are a perfect mix between the traditional Tuscan style of earthy colours, terracotta floors, thick wooden beams and modern comfort with large comfortable sofas, a stereo with CD player, SAT TV and much more. You will enjoy the touch of luxury the owner has incorporated into this simple and classical structure.

The villa offers a double entrance - one on the first floor on the pool side of the villa. There is a refreshing covered terrace with table and chairs below the pool where you can enjoy a cool drink before running back to the 5.5 x 10.5 pool area above. The pool is furnished with lounge chairs and a shady gazebo area. A barbecue party by the pool is a fascinating idea. Specially in a place like Villa la casina that offers a unique panorama.

“The most idyllic spot in the Tuscan hills”
Where do I start. This is the most beautifully positioned villa, and you honestly could not ask for more in terms of view, serenity and location. Poppi (a beautiful little unspoilt town) is a breathtaking 20min drive away, with lovely authentic shops to buy fresh pasta, cheese and meats. And a couple of delicious family-run restaurants. The villa itself was very clean and is packed with rustic Italian charm. The numerous outdoor spaces make it a fab place to stay in for dinner and simply enjoy the view. The hosts are the warmest, friendliest and most accommodating that I have ever come across. Stella was on hand to help us with our every need, all hours of the day. And having mentioned that we wanted to use the pizza oven one evening, we returned that afternoon to find that Gigi (Stella's father) had been to lay the firewood and set everything up for us. Bellissimo all round. We'll definitely be back!

“A place to come back.”
We had a great time at Podere la Casina. We were eight people (4 adults and 4 children), and had more space than we could actually use. The house is very big, and the rooms are bigger than they look by the pictures. There are many rooms, so easy to isolate yourself if you want, but also there are plenty of great comunal areas to spend time together. We stayed for 2 weeks and didnt want to leave the house, but the location has so many interesting touristic attractions that we ended up going to Arezzo, La Verna, Anghiari, Florence, and the castle in Poppi, which were all great. The house is quite remote, but it had all that we needed. The views are absolutely stunning and we took pictures daily to try to capture and remember the beauty of it. In addition, the family was very helpful in coming every day to clean the pool and water the plants at the early hour (we almost didnt see them) and leaving us some delicious italian meals. They were also very responsive and accomodating, as we arrived 6 hours later than originally expected. We all thought this to be the most memorable house and place we stayed so far (and we have been in quite a few) and definitely plan to come back. Thanks Stella, Anna, Giggi, Paolo and Nicolo for the great vacations we had!
