Description

Villa Selli combines the traditional features of an old farmhouse with five star luxury bathrooms and kitchen. Set apart in its own grounds of olive and orange trees on a hilltop it is the perfect place to unwind. Selli boasts a list of facilities rarely found in villas to rent in Greece and the owner's aim has been to create a villa where a large party, be it extended family or simply a group of friends, can really holiday in private surroundings with almost every whim catered for!

The beach is never far away in Crete and Gerani beach – one of the most peaceful and clean 2 km stretches of sandy shoreline in west Crete – is only a 2-minute drive away.

“A but dissapointing”

Response from the owner You are part of the same group that rented the villa. It appears as though I have to answer twice about the same comments. Thank you for your review. -Firtsly may I say ,that you never reported during your stay, any problem with the 6 A/C units in the Villa, so I assume this complaint is just for the sake of you making your argument stronger and that this is not true. It is impossible ALL 6 A/C units in the villa, didn't work!! -About the maid's visits, it appears that you did not read the Terms and Conditions during your booking. The maid is booked for 2 times a week and not every other day ( I don't understand where you find it that it should be every other day). You had the choice for more visits from the maid at an extra cost but you didn't book any extra days for cleaning. -The pool tiles were removed by the childen. On our regular maintenance visits around our villas and during your stay, we found a super-market bag full of tiles from the outside pool and we had to mention this ,that we may be deducting the cost of repairs from your Damage Deposit if you kept damaging the pool and, ONLY after we warned you, only then ,children stopped removing the tiles. The inside pool's tiles where untouched because children used only the ouside pool! (We know that the children were doing such a thing ,as they were seen by a member of our family at the time ) -The dishwasher was also broken on the third day of your stay!! However we did not charge you for the cost of repairing it. Something which I think it was a mistake and you should had pay the cost. It is very obvious that when you are renting a villa you also take the responsibility to keep it on the condition you find and leave the Property and the furnishings, including items such as kitchen equipment, crockery and glasses clean and in good condition unfortunatly you didnt repsect the villa and the contents. The villa was left in a very bad contition after your stay !! Please understand from a family business point of view ,that this is our business that we have worked hard to bulid up and property that we have built up over the years ,which we are proud to own and embrace and share with our guests,So it saddens me to discover guests who do not respect our property and its contents ,only for us to pick up the pieces and costs , for our next guests, which sets us back in the property turnaround.
