Description
Casa Olivastra is built on the ruins of an ancient convent on the edge of Val d'Orcia. An ideal base to visit some of the most attractive towns in Tuscany . The house has been architecturally designed so that each room has its own unique view &terrace.The illuminated pool is 1.2 m deep & ideal for children & adults. The accommodation is on 3 levels.
Ground floor:
Large living room with leather sofas and marble table and traditional Tuscan fireplace, stone archway leading to dining room and kitchen with large travertine dining table. Large arched windows afford beautiful views over the valley.
First floor:
Master bedroom with king size bed and its own arched terrace.
Twin bedroom with double doors leading to terrace and pool.
Bathroom with Roman stone bath and marble basin and W.C.
Second floor:
Double bedroom with private roof terrace.
Shower room with marble basin, W.C and bidet.

“BELLA MA.”
casa scenografica e molto ben posizionata. tuttavia non si tratta di una antica costruzione in pietra,infatti il caldo all'interno e' notevole (se fosse antica il problema non esisterebbe) non ci sono protezioni dai raggi solari (persiane o scuretti, interni o esterni). la piscina aiuta molto, e la manutenzione e' ben fatta da emmanuel, che ci ha inoltre supportati per altri piccoli problemi. siamo rimasti senza acqua il primo giorno dalle 19.30 alle 23, il terzo giorno nello stesso orario (siamo stati costretti ad andare al ristorante e a lavarci dopo le ore 23) e altre due volte per circa un'ora, sempre nel tardo pomeriggio, pare per problemi di pressione dell'acquedotto comunale. questa cosa non era segnalata, e non e' accettabile, e' una mancanza per me grave. altra cosa assurda e' l'assenza di luce esterna nel lato del salone, e dell'ingresso principale. occorrono torce, altrimenti e' buio completo, l'unica luce esterna e' quella sul lato piscina. per i circa 300 euro al giorno che costa, meglio cercare un'altra soluzione che garantisca che non manchi l'acqua per persone ed animali di compagnia.

“Very good place for peace and quiet”
The villa is very nice and has a good layout. It is very isolated from any major town, which is a good thing. We wanted isolation, peace and quiet which is gets 5 out of 5. The little villages on all of the mountain tops surrounding the villa are beautiful and have good markets and restaurants. Hiking in September from the villa to the villages is amazing!!!
