Description

Cartref Cottage is situated in the grounds of a large house in the hamlet of Rhosygwaliau, one and a half miles from Bala Lake.

There is an open plan kitchen / diner / lounge, a shower room and a bedroom with one double and one single bed.

Bed linen is provided, but you will need to bring your own towels

.The kitchen has a full size cooker with oven and grill, fridge, a microwave, toaster, washer dryer, iron (and board).

There is private parking and the bustling market town of Bala is two minutes away by car.The cottage is centrally heated, and is a non smoking property.

.Cycle hire is available in Bala and we can offer indoor cycle storage.

Free WI-FI is available at Cartref Cottage.

A selection of board games and DVDs are kept in the cottage.

Please observe social distancing whilst outside the cottage, including trips to the surrounding area. If you develop symptoms of COVID-19 whilst staying at the cottage, phone us. Return home as per government guidelines. If you are unable to travel home due to illness you will be charged for additional nights. Before departure- Open the windows . Place bedding in the bags provided. Use the recycling boxes. Put non-recyclable waste in green wheelie bin. Please depart cottage by 10am.

“Value for money”

Lovely little cottage in a nice quite area, enough room for 2 adults and 1 child. The owners were friendly and welcoming. The cottage was a little damp, I'm guessing because it hadn't been used for months, but once the windows were open and the heating on for a bit it was ok.

“Cosy cottage for 2 people just a few minutes drive from Bala”

If you want a quiet location and privacy this is the place. William was the very friendly owner who left us to enjoy our week but was there if we had any questions. Bala Is a great base to explore Snowdonia from by car, bike and foot.

Hi the cottage was good yes there is a slight damp smell but if you leave the windows open you can’t smell it the owners very friendly they don’t bother you at all the grounds is beautiful I would definitely recommend

We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was nice and cosy and very clean with lovely surroundings. Owners lived in the house next door and were very friendly.
