Charming , authentic & sophisticated country apartment with private garden-terrace, boasting a picture-framed view of olive groves and countryside on those classic rolling hills and glorious sunsets. The lodging keeps cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Casa Mia is set inside a 17th century villa on the ground floor, in a safe and quiet street. There is a carpark for guests directly in front of the villa which is about 10 metres from the front door of the apartment. Ideally positioned for touring Tuscany, taking a shopping day at the Outlets near Florence (The Mall and Prada). It's also enjoyable just to relax in comfortable lodgings, or enjoy the terrace. There is a well equipped kitchen & outdoor dining and barbques are encouraged! An abundance of fresh herbs for your picking in the garden when creating meals. Suitable for couples, friends, people travelling alone and families .The private resident's road is quiet and safe for children. Children are very welcome, we supply toys, a cot, highchair, books, paddling pool for little ones, DVDs & games and fans in the summer. There are mosquito nets on the windows and the matresses on the beds are orthopedic and comfortable.
~Note, In the cooler months when the heating is required, there is a charge of Euro 1,00 (local rate) per unit of gas consumed. If you require a large basket of firewood for the fireplace, the cost is Euro 30,00.

The owners speak English, Italian and Spanish & stay 10 mins away if needed. They know and love this part of Tuscany very well and are happy to share their information with the guests in the aim of helping to offer any visitor a genuine Tuscan experience, in the form of recommendations for places to visit, festivals to attend, activities, eating out and local vineyards to visit. Perfectly and conveniently located in the Chianti Triangle between the most beautiful towns of the centre of Italy for exploring visiting, ancient hilltop towns, Florence (20 minutes), Siena (25 minutes), Lucca (1 hour), Volterra (1 .15 hours), Pisa (1.5 hours). 5 minutes to the Chianti Classico winemaking and olive oil zone. Neighbouring towns, San Donato in Poggio (5 minutes), Badia a Passignano (5 minutes), Barberino Val D'Elsa (15 minutes), Sambuca (5 minutes), Tavarnelle Val Di Pesa (10 minutes), Montespertoli (25 minutes), Certaldo (25 minutes), San Gimignano (45 minutes), Panzano (15 minutes) , Greve (20 minutes), Castellina (20 minutes), Radda and Gaiole in Chianti (30 minutes). Genuine hospitality, many local restaurants & pizzerias to eat. 10 mins from the new Antinori wine cellars. Dario Cecchini butchers in Panzano is a "must" for lunch.
The nearest airports are Florence 40 mins drive, and Pisa 1 & 1/2 hrs, followed by Bologna 1 & 3/4 hrs , Rome 3 hrs.
