Description
This lovely, stone semi-detached house dates back to 1790 and is in a wonderful position overlooking the Harbour with spectacular sea views. The house is refurbished yet retains charming original features including beamed ceilings and open fireplaces. The 'cottage style' lounge, dining room and bedrooms all have stunning sea views and are comfortably furnished in traditional style. A beautiful new rear extension offers a modern Kitchen and Breakfast room with French doors to the patio. A 3rd garden bedroom again offers French doors to the patio and lovely views of the garden. A stunning new Wetroom completes the latest additions to the property. The lovely enclosed organic garden has a lawn, and borders, garden furniture and barbecue. The local Award winning Steam Packet Inn in the village is 4 minutes walk away and is renowned for its food, fine wine and real ale.

“July 2020 stay at Colebrook”
Many thanks to Norma who managed to accommodate my family and I at Colebrook at rather short notice. We really enjoyed our time there despite the unusual circumstances. The house itself was very clean and comfortable and we spent most of our time as a family in the bright, sunny kitchen/dining area in the modern extension at the back of the house. My three year old daughter especially loved watching all the birds and seeing the plants in bloom in the garden whilst having her breakfast! Great having the beach so close and we were really lucky to see a minke whale from the rocks near the lighthouse at the entrance to the bay. Very friendly neighbours which we enjoyed chatting with and great food at steam packet Inn - worth the trip down again just for the fish pie! We hope to come back and stay again at Colebrook.

“Keep Returning”
Colebrook retains its quaint and original personality as before.Then it reveals a beautiful new kitchen,bedroom and shower room.All modern appliances and decor.What is not to love about Colebrook.We have spent 2 holidays a year there for several years and returning in August/Septenber.
