Description

Babingtons Cottage is the perfect place to enjoy a holiday in the Scottish Borders. Originally two spanned Cottages, the accommodation is all on one level with 2 cosy log/coal fires, double glazing throughout & oil-fired central heating. The Howdens modern kitchen has an Electric Everhot Range Cooker, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave & clothes pulley. The patio from sitting room 1 with its stunning views over the garden and Cheviot Hills is ideal for lunches or dinners. The 3 white bathrooms have baths, showers & grab rails with electric heaters. The dining room seats 10 with a hostess trolley, plate heater & wine rack. Hall with sofa bed

Pets are welcome by arrangement.

It is ideal for 2-4 people (+sofa bed in a spacious hall) or for larger parties 2-8 people (+sofa bed in a spacious hall). Either divided or as one Babingtons Cottage is very comfortable, peaceful and has a lovely atmosphere.

The Cottage is located in a peaceful rural location 2.5 miles from the historic town of Coldstream right on the Scottish Border. The home of the Coldstream Guards. It is surrounded by a spacious gardens with wonderful bird life, open aspects and ample parking,

It is a great location for all outdoor pursuits. There is salmon and trout fishing in the famous River Tweed a 10 minute walk. There is also sea fishing from the coast at Berwick, Eyemouth and Coldingham and many boat trips to the Farne Islands & Holy Island should not be missed.

Historic Houses, Gardens, Riding & Golf Courses are also close by. Day trips to Edinburgh by car or rail are within easy reach.

Ideal base for either country or coastal walking and cycling.

It is equally suited for those who are looking for tranquillity and relaxation.

The Cottage is suitable for Couples, Families or Small Groups. It can either be booked for 2 - 8 people ( + Sofa bed). Rates accordingly

Babingtons has two Lounges with open fires and excellent views of the Gardens and rural aspect beyond to the Cheviot Hills. The River Tweed is a 10 minute walk. One Lounge has patio doors leading onto paved patio equipped with table and chairs.

Dining Room has a Table that comfortably seats 10 people.

The Kitchen is modern and fully equipped with an Electric Everhot Range Cooker, Washing Machine, Dishwasher, Fridge, Freezer & Microwave.

There are 4 comfortable Bedrooms, 3 twin Rooms & 1 Double. The 3 Bathrooms are equipped with both Baths and Showers and Electric Hair dryers
