Description

7 Pines La Pointe is on fun and picturesque Madeline Island. It's located just one mile from downtown, yet completely inundated with tall timber, and wildlife. The rental includes 2 bedrooms, not just one! The front bedroom has access to the nearby hallway bathroom with shower. While the back bedroom has it's own outside entrance, and an attached bathroom with shower.

High peaked windows light up the functional kitchen/greatroom, with two fold out sofas. It has a large refrigerator with freezer, microwave, blender, and stove, available for your use. The cabin also has a partially covered deck for nature viewing in any weather.

Lots of wood for your use and plenty more to gather for fires at night!

Two cats do live with me on property, in the new tiny house located in front of the cabin. They also have an outside basement access to the cabin, so expect them to be around, sort of own the place and very friendly.

While here, head to the beach to jump in and discover the healing waters of Lake Superior, check out all the action downtown, play horseshoes in the yard, have a roaring fire in the pit, stroll the trails around the Lagoon at the State Park, or simply mix up a cold beverage and soak up the scenery on the large wrap-around deck. There are many tour options also available for great sailing and fishing in the area, book early if possible.

I work daily at the Madeline Island Golf Club as the Tournament Coordinator, Asst. Manager and Golf Instructor. If I can help to make a tee time during your stay, or assist with learning the game, let me know!

There are a few small shops in town, as well as Taverns, a Wine Bar, and numerous Art Galleries, all with local chatter. Most everything on the Island is located within walking/biking distance of the cabin. Travel here by ferry, which leaves from the dock in picturesque Bayfield, Wisconsin. Every ferry takes cars and passengers the two miles it spans across Lake Superior, no advance tickets needed.

You should bring your own food and drink, make note that Bayfield, across the Lake, has the closest grocery store. Plus, there are two small convenience stores to purchase a few items, once on the Island.

I enjoy my guests, and will definitely make myself available to answer any questions. Mondamin Trail is a quiet golf course neighborhood, with more bicycle riders and walkers than cars. I'll purposely stay clear and give you space to enjoy the cabin to it's fullest.

Had wonderful time swimming, great food and very fun town. 7 Pines had everything we wanted or needed. Paul is a wonderful host. We will be back!

We had a grand time and Paul with his lady friend help to ensure our visit was enjoyable. We also enjoyed the two cats. We highly recommend this as a nice clean, updated and relaxing place to stay.
