Description

You can look far and wide and never find one like this again. We have a four bedroom house on two lakes! You can watch the sun rise over one lake, then watch it set over the other one. Too windy today on one lake? No problem, it's perfectly calm on the other. Never miss a moment of enjoyment. There is 335 feet of private lake shore to enjoy with a private beach!

We now have a 25' pontoon boat available for rent, please message us for costs. There is also a brand new bike/walking path right into town.

This lake home has the ideal location. The back deck and bedroom windows are about 15' from the water of Lower Elk Lake. Enjoy a cool morning breeze through your bedroom window. Out the front there is another 165' of private shore on Elk Lake to go with the 150' of shore on Lower Elk Lake. We have a private sandy beach, hammock, fire pit, dock, and a boat lift on Elk Lake. There is another dock on Lower Elk. Along with the pontoon boat we also have five kayaks, two stand-up paddle boards, and two paddle boats for you to enjoy. There is also a 14' fishing boat and even a small number of fishing rods if you need.

The home features four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, dining room, rumpus room (with foos-ball table, electronic dart board, and board games), eat-in kitchen, deck, two patio doors right over the lake, all on two-thirds of an acre. There are seven beds that will sleep up to ten people in this 1,600 square foot home. The kitchen has plenty of counter space and there is a washer and dryer. We have a flat screen TV, high-speed internet, a Roku, Firestick, and cable TV. You can bring dogs if you'd like (if housebroken).

Elk lake is the best swimming lake in the county. There is a public sandy beach with lifeguards (Certain hours only) only a few hundred feet away.

Both Elk and Lower Elk are great sand bottom fishing lakes. In either lake you can go after Walleye, Northern Pike, Large mouth Bass, Crappie, and Sunfish. You're able to fish from the shore, the docks or from a boat. There is even a fish cleaning table by the garage.

Only two miles away you can find Hoffman, MN. Hoffman is a small quiet town but you'll be able to get most of the necessities you'll need there. It has a gas station, restaurant, a bar/restaurant, grocery store, liquor store, and other shops. Ask about our Golf discounts with local golf courses.

If you need a little more action than sleepy Hoffman is able to provide that's not a problem as you're only about twenty minutes away from Alexandria MN. Alexandria has lots of shopping at dozens of antique stores and other shops. There are plenty of restaurants, retail stores, golf courses, and even a winery and brewery.

We'd really love to share our little bit of heaven with you.

Getting around

We are out in the country so you'll need a vehicle to get to the cabin. But once you're there you can just walk to the beach. We also have a beach on the property. There is a foot/bicycle path from the front door all the way into Hoffman.

Interaction with guest

We have a coded lock on the door, so no more worrying about keys. I will send you the code the week of your visit. I meet guest on site about 50% of the time, otherwise I'm always available by phone, text, or email. We have a cabin book that explains everything about the house.
