“Beautiful studio in an great neighborhood”
This studio is absolutely perfect for one person, but is very comfortable for two, also. I had a friend stay with me for eight days and we were fine - certainly more room than a Paris hotel! Pascal was super accomodating and efficient, always providing rapid email responses and also wonderful assistance in helping me to get settled in on my day of arrival. He even took me for a brief walk through the neighborhood to show me location of the markets, wine stores, boulangeries, and the streets with the good restaurants and cafes. There are many bars and nightclubs nearby but far enough away that the noise does not affect the studio. Having Pascal there when I arrived really enhanced my welcome and comfort. The neighborhood is excellent, slightly removed from most of the more crowded Paris touristy areas. Great location behind the Pantheon, and actually not a bad walk at all from the popular St. Michele area and the Notre Dame. The studio is very well equipped with everything one needs, and the fold out bed is the most comfortable fold out bed I have ever slept on in my life. I want to buy one for my home in the U.S. Kitchen is very small, but it is possible to prepare meals. Bathroom is very modern and nice - shower is excellent, there is great water pressure and always enough hot water. There is no air conditioner (typical in France) but you can sleep with the huge window wide open and the nights in July were cool enough. There is a school playground across the street and because of my open window, the loud children sometimes made it difficult to sleeo late in the mornings after a late Parisien night. But the studio is equipped with a small but adequate oscillating fan if you want to keep the window closed. I had friends in for dinner once or twice, and it is comfortable for five or six as long as you don't plan to cook the entire meal in the kitchen. I loved this studio - it really made my 18 days in Paris allow me to feel like I was a Paris resident.
“Excellent service and great location.”
Having met Pascal before, we knew we would get excellent service, and we were not disappointed. Staying fro three weeks for a French Language course, this appartment is extremely well placed with the Luxembourg Gardens, Pantheon and Sorbonne to one side and the Rue Mouffetard and its artisanal food stores to the other. The apartment is clean and well furnished with an amazing bathroom and all you will need in terms of wifi, phone, TV etc, with a weekly maid service which includes linen and cleaning services. Pascal was extremely helpful throughout and it is good to know that if there were any problems (which there weren't) that someone was there to sort it out. It isn't the cheapest option for a stay in Paris, but it represents good value in that peace of mind has its own value. Would definately stay again. Chez Lina, a nice restaurant with a terrace is a few doors away. A good starting place before immersing yourself in the cafes of Mouffetard.
The apartment was not the biggest but its location was very convenient. You can walk anywhere and get whatever you needed in notime. I was a student of IaE - Sorbonne; I could walk there, get my grocery shopping at Rue Mouffetar, close to the best restaurant and to Notre Dame.
