“Wonderful Studio Apt.” This apt. provided a location that easily accessed a grocery, several cafes, and a walk up the hill to Sacre Couer. Parks were easily within a walk and there were many lovely shops just down the hill. The hosts here are wonderful!

“Unforgettable weekend in Paris” I was apprehensive about booking an apartment on the opposite side of the world, but it was everything that it said it would be and more. The details for checking in we received were great and the location and cleanliness was excellent and we would recommend it to our family and friend and would like to return again someday.

“Live like a Parisian” I stayed in two of Didier's apartments. The first night we stayed in his one bedroom. This is a decent sized apartment with old Parisian charm such as wood floors. It is a good size for 2 to 4 people (second bed is in living room). The next 4 nights we stayed in his' two bedroom apartment in an adjacent building. It is large and spacious (except for the toilet room and bathroom, which are quite small). One large bedroom looks out onto the main street making it a very bright and cheerful room, but is very quiet because of the double glass door/window used to insulate the sound. The second bedroom is a little smaller and has a window on the inner courtyard of the building. The kitchen is modern and has all of the necessities. The location is on the boarder of the 7th and 15th districts, and a few short blocks from the metro. While the location is not in the center of the tourist areas, I enjoyed the location. Didier was a great host and very helpful. The only negative is both apartments could use a good spring cleaning. There is some mold in the bathrooms, but mostly I would define the dirt as every day living sort of dirt. Bottom line I feel like I got a good sense of what it is like to live in Paris. Thanks Didier.

“A delightful apartment in the best location and a very easy way” FlipKey and the owner Eric were very easy to deal with and made everything seamless and pleasant. It was clear every step what was expected. When to pay the deposit and the second payment. How to pay was clear and the system worked smoothly. We also knew how much to bring for a security deposit and what currency to use. Eric was gracious and informative when we met him and by email. Australians hear all sorts of horror stories about the size of European rooms and we were delighted at how spacious the apartment was, including the well appointed and set out bathroom. The pictures on the website were accurate and the furniture, fittings and general amenities exceeded our expectations in comfort and standard. It is a home, not a rented apartment. There was plenty of room for luggage which all travellers have. The location is understated. It is so close to Notre Dame, the trains and the tourist buses. It makes you feel like you are right in the middle of Paris. Yet being at the back of the building with a garden it is quiet and peaceful. Lots of restaurants, cafes and shops within an easy distance. The taxi rank is right outside the door. I loved the location. I loved that it did not feel like a hotel. I loved that it felt French. It was the perfect experience we wanted. It felt like value for money and I would recommend to anyone and would certainly stay here again.

“There is a wonderful apartment in the heart of Paris that deserves attention.” There is a wonderful apartment in the heart of Paris that deserves attention. We fell in love years ago with Paris and have returned to the city many times to explore its many attractions and to share in the spirit of the city. Usually, when being in Paris we have stayed in hotels. On our last trip this past Spring we were able to rent a delightful apartment in the heart of Paris which provided us with a different perspective of being in Paris.. The apartment is in the 2nd Arrondisement, part of a historic complex of flats that is accessed from a cobble stoned street (rue D’Argout), and by walking through a large wooden blue entry door which brings you to a beautiful courtyard and from there to the apartment. From the moment we entered the apartment we felt at home. Our host, Martine of "Martinn keys 2 Paris" met us promptly as planned and as a kind and genial host made sure we were welcome and comfortable in the apartment.. A shuttered window allowed the mid morning sun to filter into the lovely sitting room. The kitchen was spotless and inviting, with a place for everything we could need, even a juicer to make our morning "citron presse" (freshly squeezed lemon juice).. A delicious hot meal was waiting for us as well as breakfast for the following morning. The bedroom and bathroom were fresh and clean with a lovely bath and shower. There was even a stacked washer and dryer. Martine took the time to make sure we had our bearings, highlighted current exhibitions that we might wish to see, referred us to local bakeries and fresh food stores, restaurants and specialty shops. Even before our arrival she helped me (Win) source a serene yoga studio less than few minutes away from our apartment. (info@ecoledeyogasaraswati-paris.fr) The apartment is located in an area that is filled with the pulse and rhythm of Parisian life throughout out the day and late into the evening. The streets around the apartment, notably Rue Montorgueil and rue Monmarte are inviting and bustling with cafes allowing one to enjoy the eclectic mix of Parisians going about their day, friends enjoying each others company and visitors seizing the moment. At the end of each day of discovering new parts of Paris, behind the great wooden blue door, our lovely apartment waited. The night life of the area may well have continued into the morning hours, but we nevertheless enjoyed the quiet and good night sleep allowing us to be refreshed and ready for a next day. The Marais district (including the Picasso Museum), the Palais Royale, the Louvre Museum with its Jardins des Tuilleries and the Left Bank are all a few steps away from the apartment. Martine thank you once again for your hospitality, friendship and for the genuine care you took to make our stay in Paris so memorable. “Everything we wanted in an apt. and more” This is a lovely ground-floor apartment overlooking a sunny, gated Parisian courtyard complete with trees and flowering plants. We've stayed on Rue Cler and found it overrun with tourists. We wanted to experience a more authentic Paris. We found it. The warm neighbors, the scrumptious bakery next door, and the proximity to public transit also enhanced our stay. The decor is warm, comfortable and inviting--in contrast to the many sterile apartments that we have seen listed on the internet. It feels like a home. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would return in a heartbeat.

“A Great Place To Stay In Paris” Florence, the owner, has a wonderful studio and is easy to work with. This was our first trip to Paris and the location was easy to get to from the EuroStar. The studio is very clean and has modern appliances. The views of The Eiffel Tower & Notre Dame are great. We would definately stay there again.

“Truly Wonderful!” This lovely apartment was everything I imagined it would be.. and more. The location was ideal - within walking distance to all the places we had on our list. The place itself exuded the charm of Paris with modern conveniences and the warm, rich ambience of home. It was wonderful coming back at the end of the day to relax here. I would definitely come back again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful place to stay.

“Clean, spacious, nice concierge, and so quiet that the mice must” We had a five night stay in this nicely located apartment a block from the Bastile. Madame andré, the concierge was delightful and most helpful with explaining all about the apartment. The apartment was nicely furnished and the couches and bed were comfortable; the TV and all the appliances were all up to date and worked fine. This unit has two bathrooms, both with a stall shower and a toilet, most unusual for a one bedroom unit. The kitchen is fully furnished, though we didn't do any serious cooking; we never could figure out the microwave, but the washer worked fine. We were but two but the hide a bed couch or couches could accommodate more and the unit is so spacious there is plenty of room for four persons easily. There is no street noise whatsoever, this is a quiet place for sleep and relaxing. This is not the Four Seasons or such, but there is real Parisian charm here for those who want it. Superior onion soup in the small café directly across the boulevard. We would stay here again without question should we be able to return to Paris. In summary, our most memorable place to stay in Paris in our several visits. We recommend it without question. The owner is also very communicative and helpful.

“Fantastique! Mervielleux!” The location can't be beat. We wandered down the street after a long day & I would make a point of hanging out by the entrance pretending it was my home. I'd wait for other tourists to come by & fiddle with my keys etc. We like to keep the windows open at night- noise level? No problem at all & I like to hear the city at night. Bedrooms (& beds) were very quiet & conducive to a good night's sleep. We went out for meals but also cooked. Kitchen was comfortable & it's easy to put a meal together with all the shops down the block. Bottom line: it's extremely comfortable & is such a great alternative to hotels. I think it's the only way to travel now. Beware you may need to get pulled out kicking & screaming- you won't want to leave I assure you.

“Great Location and Excellent Hosts” I really enjoyed my trip to Paris and it was made all the more enjoyable and relaxing with the help of my hostess. Colette took the time out to give us directions, local information and to order us taxis. The apartment was well kept and in a good location. I especially appreciated the orange juice in the fridge when we arrived on a hot august afternoon. If I got the chance to return to Paris I would use this apartment again.

Beautiful Paris Studio Apartment for Rent

“Location! Location! Location!” The location of this apartment was excellent for us. St. Germaine was exactly what I read about! The Metro and RER made all of Paris easily accessible. The building was quiet and secure with two locked doors prior to entering the building. The apartment itself was adequate. The bed was super comfy! The temperature was perfect. We never ran out of hot water. Not having a shower was hard to get used to, but there is a hand held shower nozzle which did the job. The size of the bathroom was very nice. I would definitely recommend getting the doors fixed to the closet and kitchen area as it was quite difficult to open and close them. Otherwise the apartment suited it's purpose. We would definitely consider renting this place again if we ever decide to return to Paris.

“Forget hotels - stay here!” Booked this as a surprise trip after proposing to my now-fiancée and we absolutely loved it. After searching hotel comparison sites and finding tiny rooms anywhere were £250+ per night, I decided to have a look on Homeaway.co.uk. Reviews for this place were great and the pictures looked amazing - as others have said, this is an absolute bargain compared to much more basic hotel rooms. The pictures don't do the apartment justice - it is incredibly luxurious but also comfortable, with everything you could possibly want provided and offered by the owner. Great for a special occasion or just any trip to Paris really! The location is perfect, just minutes from the Champs-Élysées and around the corner from a Metro station. We rarely used the Metro, with the arc de Triomphe, Louvre, Musée d'Orsay, Eiffel Tower and arguably Notre-Dame within walking distance. A few handy shops nearby - no bakeries/patisseries were open when I looked but it was Easter weekend... some great restaurants nearby, would particularly recommend Le Boeuf Sur Le Toit (details in the welcome pack provided). We were extremely surprised they didn't have a Michelin star and they were extremely welcoming, not a fussy dress code etc. (P.S. I strongly recommend the châteaubriand!) Other things to note are that the building is extremely secure, the owner is very trustworthy & that every need will be catered for during your stay. Wouldn't consider staying anywhere else next time I visit Paris and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone. 12 out of 10!

Beautiful Vacation Rental at Arc de Triomphe in Paris

Paris apartment

“Superb Paris apartment” I rented this amazing apartment for a week in June for my adult son and I for his Birthday and it just could not have been more ideal. We fell in love with it immediately. He had his own spacious bedroom with ensuite and I enjoyed my fantastic bedroom and marble ensuite and cute little deck where we had our breakfasts overlooking the garden. The kitchen is extremely well equipped but we paid morning visits to Le Notre for pastries & stocked up on a few cheeses and fruits from Monoprix for breakfast and ate out the rest of the time. Ellen showed us our apartment and spent all the time we needed to get acquainted with our new place, she is the best ! We were so lucky to get this ultra clean apartment in a wonderful quiet neighborhood and would not hesitate to stay there again !! A short walk to the end of the block with a glance to the left rewards you with a glorious view of the L'Arc de Triomphe. What's not to like ?

“This apartment has it all -- like a home away from home!” My husband and I stayed at the Canal apartment during our recent trip to Paris. We arrived by RER from Charles de Gaulle and Jason was at the apartment to welcome us. He had already brought milk, fresh fruit, madeleines, coffee and a bottle of wine – very considerate touches for weary travellers! Throughout our stay, he was available to answer any questions. The apartment itself is well thought out (and we loved the decor!). It was impeccably clean and very comfortable. After a long day of wandering around Paris, it was wonderful to have the space to relax, as well as the option of cooking or eating out (Piccoli Cugini across the street was a great find our first night). The kitchen was well equipped and stocked with pantry items from teas to salt and pepper and olive oil. There were many other thoughtful touches, such as the guides on Paris and some recommendations in the neighbourhood, and even umbrellas. It was also so helpful to have the excellent Wi-Fi connection and washing machine. We even appreciated the eco-friendly products used in the apartment – something that matters to us. We were impressed by how amazingly-located the apartment is. Nearby are great bakeries (Liberté is down the street, but we were fond of Du Pain et Des Idées -- the pain des amis and escargot aux fruits rouges were our favourites), a plethora of shops and really good restaurants. Just a few doors down is a Carrefour City, a Monop’ is close by, as are several Franprix. As for transportation by métro, the apartment couldn’t be better situated. The nº 5 Jacques Bonsergent stop is the closest, however, a short walk to the Gare de l’Est will get you to the nº 4 line, which carries on to the Left Bank without the need for connection, and, at the Place de la République, there are a few other lines. That said, we found that there was so much that could be reached on foot. Overall, the neighbourhood was really lovely to stay in and we now wish that we had spent more time exploring it. Our only complaint: we had to leave! We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and would recommend it to anyone staying in Paris. Thank you so much, Jason.

About Paris

Widely billed as the most romantic city in the world, Paris has rightfully earned its reputation as a must-see destination. An enormously influential center of culture, art, and fashion, this historic city is brimming with charming neighborhoods, breathtaking architecture, scenic views, and some of the world's best museums. When the sun goes down, you'll also see why Paris earned the nickname "City of Light."

While there are endless attractions for visitors of all tastes, the city's must-see sights include:

  • L'Arc de Triomphe: This stirring monument is one of the most iconic symbols of Paris and it is well worth a visit.
  • Eiffel Tower: No visit to Paris is complete without a stop at the Eiffel Tower. Take the elevator up to the highest level for an astonishing view of the city.
  • Museums: Paris is home to some of the most famous museums in the world. If you only have time for a couple, make them the Louvre and the Musee d'Orsay. Seeing all the Paris, France museums would take a dedicated holiday of its very own!
  • Champs-Elysees: Spend an hour or two strolling up and down Paris' famous shopping district, and stop at a sidewalk restaurant or cafe for a bite to eat and a glass of wine. Many tours of Paris, France originate on this famous boulevard.
  • Notre Dame cathedral: This Gothic cathedral is considered one of the most impressive feats of architecture in the western world.

While you can visit Paris anytime and have a memorable adventure, spring is widely considered the best time to see the city come alive. Paris also hosts an impressive party in July, when France celebrates its national holiday, Bastille Day. If you're visiting with the family, Euro Disney and Paris, France go hand-in-hand.

Getting your own vacation rental instead of staying in a hotel is perfect for couples enjoying a romantic holiday, families visiting Europe and group vacations in Paris. Renting your own apartment for the duration of your stay gives you more space, privacy and better amenities than a cramped hotel room.

If you want to explore more of France, the famous palace of Versailles is a short train ride from the city, and the storied region of Burgundy lies just to the southeast. Head there for a sampling of world-class wine and an up-close look at French country life.

Beautiful Apartment, Great Location

The apartment was located in a quiet and charming area that was also very centrally located to the heart of Paris. Easy walk to grocery stores, and lots of cute bakeries, produce shops and restaurants on the island itself. The apartment was beautiful and very spacious, with an updated bathroom and shower. It was also stocked with a lot of essentials for cooking, like salt, sugar, olive oil, etc. and the bathroom had some shampoo, etc. and a hair straightener, blow dryer, and curling iron, so no need to worry about converters. The wifi was also very fast, which was great as we were there for work and had to download/upload files. The elevator, although small, was a big bonus for our luggage. The check in and out process was seamless, and the property manager Jenn was very communicative ahead of our arrival. Highly recommend, and plan to stay again!see more

Homy and cosy apartment in Montmartre
Nice place

This apartment is quaint and comfortable. Anne was very helpful and had good recommendations. It is very close to the Metro and there are many places to visit nearby. My only concern were the stairs to the apartment. This is a very old building and the wooden, spiral staircase was very treacherous with our suitcases. I was worried I was going to fall on the way down. Otherwise, it was a nice stay.see more

CENTRAL LOCATION!!! Small but stylish clean flat

You can't beat the location of this place. It is less than a 5 minute walk to the Louvre and within walking distance to the Le Marais district. The space was cozy with a comfortable bed and sofa. The living space was great as it came with a sleek clean kitchen equipped with a refrigerator and stove with your basic kitchen necessities if you wanted to cook or open up a bottle of wine. This flat is situated on a more quiet street however there is some noise from the the apartment above since the floors can be creaky but it didn't bother us much. Great Paris Experience

The owner Dominic was awesome. He was responsive to our needs but not intrusive. The apartment was great. We stayed for a month, and I would do it again. The apartment is located between a very chic area and a more residential one. It is on a side street, so traffic noise is minimal for Paris. There is plenty to do in the area. You can walk to the major sites or take convenient metros. The apartment has wonderful views with east and west windows looking over rooftops. We could see the Eiffel Tower and Bastille from the useable balcony. We cooked in a lot and found the kitchen to be adequate for two. The apartment has a washing machine, which is a great convenience for longer stays. It has cathedral ceiling with old wood beams, which gave great ambience, along with the good light from being on the top floor. Cons: if you are tall, you may bump your head in the loft. If you have problems with stairs, this is not for you. Otherwise, it is completely functional. From Charles de Gaulle Airport, take the RER B train to Gare du Nord. Then the Metro 5 headed to Place D'Italie. Get off at Breguet Sabin. Two blocks and you are there. Bon Voyage mon Amie!see more

Amazing location!

We loved the apartment ! The perfect organization of the small yet charming space makes it very comfortable. Walk everywhere from this central location: from the Louvres and Musée d’Orsay to the funky Le Marais, the chic St Honoré and the Place Vendôme. A few blocks from the Opera Garnier and the shopping at the Grands Boulevards. Lots of bistros and restaurants and... a chocolaterie Alain Ducasse across the street! Couldn’t be better.see more
