Description

This comfortable two-bedroom apartment occupies the top two floors of the recently rebuilt, historic Gray Barn in Bass Harbor. In the entryway you will find a washer and dryer and space for all your vacation gear. Walk upstairs and you'll find an open floor plan: a well-appointed kitchen, a living room with open-beamed ceiling and gas fireplace, and a dining room with lovely harbor views. On this floor there is also one bedroom and a full bathroom. The third floor is a single large room with plenty of sleeping space and a sitting area offering magnificent sunset views.

The Gray Barn is suitable for 2-6 people. There is a queen-sized bed in the second floor bedroom. The third floor room offers flexible sleeping arrangements: There is a king sized bed which can be converted into two twins. This room also features a futon couch which can be converted into a full sized bed. The living room couch also converts to a queen.

There is a semi-private boat access 50 yards from the house so bring your own boats or use our kayaks to explore Bass Harbor or the beautiful and serene Bass Harbor Marsh.

The Gray Barn comes with all of the amenities you would want to feel at home. For your enjoyment and convenience, there are books, games, and videos, outdoor seating with a grill, and wireless Internet access. If you'd like to leave your car behind for the day, the Island Explorer Shuttle stops right in front of the house.

How do damage deposits work?

If Jonathan (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
