Very Good

“Picture Perfect”

Reviewed 20 May 2015

This review is echoed in part in the Guest book at the Villa. I hope that all who read it who want to enjoy a thoroughly relaxing break will take heed. Levente is one of the Easterly winds that blows through Crete from around April heralding the coming of delicious warm weather. Not only was the Levantes villa picture perfect, a rare find as a lot of villa hunters will know but it was spotless, protected in an enclosed site and had stunning views of mountains, sea and Cretan living. We were met by Harris who gave us a tour of the villa and all the goodies in the welcome pack, made some recommendations for days out and places to eat. He was relaxed and positively charming and my husband and he spent some time talking about a book that he was very trustingly lent on a previous visit to Crete in another part of the Island. Next we met Stefanos, equally as charming and helpful. We had only been in residence 3 days but Stefanos told us that someone would be there to change the bedding and clean the villa and he would clean the pool. I cannot speak highly enough of the attention to detail that had gone into the Villa both on the decorative and equipment for living side. Harris arrived during that day with a book that he had chosen, bought, wrapped and bowed for Graham about a local man and how he had delat with the subject of their earlier conversation had been about. An exceptionally generous thought and gesture. We were sorry to leave but will return and our only regret was that we did not meet the boys parents, pperhaps that is for next time. Harris, Stefanos - Thank you so very much. Graham did swim in the pool, I did not, so I have to come back to experience swimming under the glass floor! Our best wishes for a successful year.

“Beautiful and Comfortable Villa Levantes”

Reviewed 11 Jan 2015

Our adult family of five’s stay in Villa Levantes was excellent. The villa is like the pictures but much more beautiful in real life. The spectacular views from the villa decks and windows of the mountains and Nopigia beach were breathtaking. We enjoyed the rural setting with its very clean air, the olive groves, the goats on the mountain and the sheep and lambs romping in the field below. As well the landscaping around the villas is cleverly done so you are surrounded by beauty everywhere. The villa itself is well designed with lots of private spaces. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need for serious cooking. The bedrooms, living room and kitchen are all spacious, very comfortable and well designed. Our family felt at home immediately. Haris, Stefanos and their mother welcomed us to the villa with an amazing selection of Cretan delights of fruit, wine, beverages, pastries, breads etc. They also decorated the villa for Christmas and brought special homemade dessert on Christmas day so it was extra special to be there over the holidays. They are the most considerate of hosts and made our stay the best possible. We hope we will be lucky enough to come back again sometime. Sharon, George, Arlen, Adrian, and Giuliana

“Grecian Getaway”

Reviewed 3 Nov 2013

We chose this spot for our honeymoon and couldn't be happier with our decision. Haris was the perfect host and a complete pleasure to work with. Our flight was delayed and we came in around 11 at night, but he stayed up to meet us and knowing it was our honeymoon, he had fresh flowers, chocolates, local foods, and champagne waiting. He came by the next couple days with impeccable timing to teach us about the nearby sites and answer any questions we may have. The beaches by the villa are must sees, with warm water, friendly people, and amazing taverns (the food on Crete is unmatched and we didn't have a single bad meal). We recommend renting a car and spending at least one day just driving around with no destination in mind because the spectacular views and quaint towns surrounding the villa are reward enough. After a day of exploring and adventure it was perfect to come back to the comfort and luxury of the villa - comfy beds, great water pressure, screen doors in every room, and all the amenities of home. We would come back here in a heart beat and stay longer if we could. Really an amazing and memorable honeymoon. Thank you to the Lagoudakis family, your little niche on Crete will forever be an important part of our marriage 3

“Amazing Villa - Perfect location”

Reviewed 23 Jun 2013

We stayed in anemon Villas (Leveantes) for a week at the beginning of June. We were two couples (early 30s) and could not have asked for a better place to stay! The villa is extremely spacious, clean and well-situated. It overlooks the bay and is surrounded by olive groves. It is modern and interesting architecturally - it is extremely comfortable and well-stocked. There is a fantastic pool to cool off in at the end of the day as well as enormous terrace. The property is quiet and private, yet, located very close to several really fantastic restaurants (fresh seafood is always available) as well as town with everything one may need (Kissamos). Haris was a generous and attentive host, with many helpful suggestions as to where to visit, eat etc. He truly thought of everything - the attentive touches (e.g. fresh cherries, local wine, baking) were really appreciated. Hopefully, we can enjoy some more raki in the the future! I would recommend renting a car while staying in Crete - it made exploring the island and many beaches close to the villa easier.

“Excellent vacation home!!!”

Reviewed 8 May 2013

We spent one week in one of anemon Villas (Levantes)for May vacation 2013. As soon as we stepped on the property we loved it! I has a beautiful settlement, wonderfull sea views from every room and the large terrace with the pool. We enjoyed the architecture and modern interiors. House is super spacious (we were family of 4 + grandparents, very clean, well equipped kitchen! Haris, the owner was extremely nice and helpful. Haris, thank you very much for your hospitality and for freshly picked oranges:) We would deffinetely return!

Response from the owner Good morning Anita and Darko! Thank you for your kind words and I look forward to welcome you back to Anemon Villas. I am glad you liked the oranges and I promise next year you will pick them yourself from the trees outside the Villa.
