The apartment is located in the center of an ancient Roman village called FORNOLI, on a secluded hill along the route of the Via Francigena, just six kilometers away from the motorway exit of Aulla. It consists of a large living room, a bedroom, a bathroom, a kitchenette and a large patio, and it can comfortably accommodate up to four people in his romantic and charming atmosphere. The entrance is independent and free parking is a few meters away. Pharmacy, ATMs, newsstands, supermarkets and all services are three kilometers away; it is also available on request a delivery service of groceries. The bar, evening meeting point for all the Fornolesi, is just a few meters away; a pub/restaurant is within one kilometer.

In the patio you will find a complete garden set, ideal to enjoy, in a panoramic and secluded corner, the sun and the peace of the Lunigianese forest; a brand new kitchen complete with appliances (fridge, microwave, dishwasher) and all you need to prepare breakfast: (mocha espresso maker, american coffee-maker, kettle and toaster) and an open-air stone-oven for BBQ are also at your disposal. There's a desk where you can get wifi connection for your laptop. The main bed is a very comfortable queen-size with orthopedic mattress and there are two single beds in the antichamber. The bathroom has a shower with hydromassage.

Washing machine, hairdryer, iron, linen and towels: we want you to be sure you'll find anything you'll need at any time of the day.

The Neighborhood

We chose Lunigiana for its strategic location with easy reach of many of the most beautiful places in Tuscany, Liguria and Emilia Romagna.

We love the authenticity of this area, the climate is cool and it's such a quiet countryside.

We love as well the wide and rich culinary tradition born from the merging of many local cuisines, some of the oldest in Italy.

Guest Access

The apartment has its own entrance and a stone patio with garden furniture and parasol. The patio overlooks a forest of acacia trees, full of fireflies on summer evenings.

Smoking is allowed only outside the apartment.

Interaction with Guests

We live and work upstairs so we are often available in case of need. Anyway, we are 24/7 reachable by phone.

If our guests are willing to, we like to spend a coffee break together or sharing a breakfast.

Getting around

It is better to have a car available; finding a parking spot will never be a problem.

Anyway bus stops are only a few meters from the house.

Railway station and motorway exit are about 5 km far.

We are at an hour distance by car from the airports of Pisa, Parma and Genoa and one hour and half from Florence's.

Other Things to Note

Pets are welcome, but we prefer to discuss each case to check if our place is right for him/her. If you have animals, please let us know before booking.

The house has big walls and double glaces on windows but if you should go for LGP heating, this will have to be payed on the base of consume (there is a specific counter).
