This modern, detached chalet is in the village of the Isle of Whithorn in Dumfries and Galloway and can sleep four people in two bedrooms.3 Laigh Isle is a modern, detached chalet in the fishing village of Isle of Whithorn in Dumfries and Galloway. With one double bedroom and one room with bunk beds as well as a family bathroom, the cottage can sleep four people. Also in the cottage are a fitted galley kitchen and a sitting room with a dining area. Outside the cottage is off road parking for 2 cars, a lawned front garden and a large rear lawn and patio with countryside views. With the sea just a couple of minutes walk away, 3 Laigh Isle is a superb holiday cottage for anyone wishing to discover this beautiful part of Scotland.Note: From 8th February this property will accommodate 3 people

Amenities: Electric central heating. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine, TV with Freeview, DVD, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 2 cars. Lawned front garden, rear lawn and patio with countryside views. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 2 mins walk. Note: Mobile phone reception can be variable at this location (reasonable in garden). Note: From 8th February this property will accommodate 3 people

Region: From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain's best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.

Town: Known as the Isle of Whithorn, this village is actually not an island, but a small village on the Scottish coast in Dumfries and Galloway. Amenities in the village include two pubs/hotels, a Post Office/general store, and a harbour. There is so much history in this area, from Iron Age forts to 11th century churches, and standing stones to castles built by Robert The Bruce. The 'book town' of Scotland, Wigtown, is a few miles away from the village, and the rest of lovely Dumfries and Galloway is on the doorstep.

“The weather made it”

The cottage was in a nice area. Very disappointed with the kitchen area, wasn't as clean as it could have been, the cooker wasn't very nice and the utensils needed to be washed.
