Description

Old Linthill is a large holiday house in the Scottish Borders that sleeps 8-10 people. Located one mile West of the picturesque fishing port of Eyemouth, the secluded seventeenth century Scottish tower house is perched on a hillside in the centre of a beautiful small estate with private trout fishing on two rivers and woodland walks.

There are five bedrooms and three bathrooms in total giving accommodation for up to 10 guests in comfort. One of the bedrooms and one of the bathrooms are downstairs. There is a large comfortable sitting room with open fire and large flat-screen television, beautiful wood-paneled dining room and a well-equipped kitchen.

Getting around

A car is very recommended – particularly in the winter months - but there is a pavement that runs from the bottom of the drive of the property to Eyemouth which means it is possible to walk to and from Eyemouth.

Interaction with guest

We like to leave people to enjoy their holidays in peace and get away from it all. For that reason we don't tend to bother you during your stay. However we are generally around to answer any queries you might have or offer any assistance needed – or leave a manager in place if we are away. We send an extensive information pack in advance of your stay and have guest information files at the properties. We are always at the end of a phone line or an email if you have any more specific requests as well. Self check-in and check-out are possible via a key safe at the property.
