Come and discover the Scottish Borders and more. Old Farm Holiday Cottages are set in Idyllic rural surrounds with views over to the Cheviot Hills. We are located just 15mins from Berwick-upon-Tweed, being perfectly situated to explore the Scottish Borders, North Northumberland as well as East Lothian and Edinburgh being approximately an hour away.

The area has plenty to offer, from fishing on the Tweed (we can help you arrange if needed), horse riding on the berwickshire beaches, cycling, watersports, biking, walking to exploring the many stately homes, castles and abbeys.

Stewards cottage provides light and bright accommodation, with well appointed rooms for you to enjoy your Scottish Borders stay. The living-room and dining-kitchen are both very spacious and light-filled, with access to the courtyard garden. Two double bedrooms, one en-suite and a bunk bed room have views over the surrounding fields and Cheviot Hills- this loft house is ideal for families and couples alike.

• Kitchen with electric fan oven, 4 ringed ceramic hob range cooker, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge freezer, dishwasher & washing machine. Kitchen equipment is provided, including all crockery, cutlery and glasses. Dining area seating 6.

• Downstairs wet room with whb, wc & shower

• Master bedroom with King Size bed & en-suite shower room

Due to our rural location, the best way to explore the area is by car. There are some fantastic walking & cycling routes near by. Berwick-upon-Tweed is the nearest train Station (trains to Edinburgh/Newcastle) There is a bus stop in Chirnside village

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your booking page. To change your dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send the property manager a message.

If the property manager agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
