Description from owner

Description

Casa Cappellino nestles among the Tuscan hills and stands on 3 acres of gardens and vineyard. These grounds are lovingly landscaped with ponds, olive grove, vineyard, fruit trees and flowering plants.

Your private holiday home is an independent stone house that has been beautifully restored to the highest standard, retaining it's Tuscan charm with wooden beams and stone floors. Casa Cappellino has been carefully designed for private relaxing and comfortable living for all seasons.

Among these rolling Tuscan hills, you can explore the nearby hills, fields and streams bountiful with wild-life, chestnuts, walnuts, mushrooms, rare ferns and wild flowers. The house overlooks a small tranquil village which has a great supermarket, offering fresh bread and fruit, plus the fantastic restaurant 'Il Rifugio', which attracts patrons from Milan and Florence. Both of these are within a 5-minute walk of Casa Cappellino.

The outside terrace is totally private and is a relaxing place to sunbathe, read, have romantic meals or stargaze into the night.

There are outdoor sitting areas where you can choose to spend the time with a bottle of wine by one of the ponds, it commands magnificent views across rolling hills to the birthplace of Michelangelo and a panoramic view of Lama laying in the valley below.

The house itself is a charming Tuscan home on two levels. It is built with stone exterior walls, wooden beams, terra cotta ceilings, chestnut wooden doors and windows, terra cotta floors. It has two large bedrooms with double beds. A spacious bathroom with bath and overhead shower. The open kitchen, dining and living area are spacious and airy. The bedroom on the lower level opens to the terrace with amazing views of Michelangelo's birth home.

Your holiday home is of course equipped with everything you could possibly need to feel 'right at home'. This includes a fully equipped kitchen, hundreds of channels of satellite TV, numerous classic movies for viewing, and WiFi Internet access throughout the property.

We are centrally situated within easy access to major attractions. You can easily take day trips to Florence, Pisa, Bologna, Cortona, Siena, Perugia, Assisi, Rome, or many of the infinite charming unknown Italian villages.

You are encouraged to read the reviews and contact us for more information. All of our guests have consistently said Casa Cappellino is much, much more wonderful than they ever expected.

Due to the frequent requests we have had over the years, we are now also offering authentic Italian cooking classes at the house.

At Casa Cappellino, it's our goal to make your stay the most memorable possible.
