This beautiful 1920's Bungalow Cottage has been featured in COUNTRY Living Magazine, DOMINO Magazine and HGTV's "Small Space, Big Style." Nestled in the heart of the Adirondack Park in the Village of Lake Placid, New York! Home of the 1932 and 1980 Winter Olympic Games.

This cozy, romantic and warm Studio Cottage sleeps two people comfortably with California King bed (heated). It is very private and has a stainless steel kitchenette with sink, stove and refrigerator, private bathroom with pedestal sink, antique claw foot tub/shower for after those long days on the mountain. There is a sitting area, Ceiling Fan, Philips Flat screen TV with Premium Cable TV and FREE Wi-Fi internet access.

This Cottage is nestled back off the road, has a partially fenced in yard and is in a perfect location. It's about a 1 minute drive or 10 minute walk to the Olympic training center and all the Main St. attractions.

2 night minimum stay required.

Response from the owner Thanks for your review. I am responding to address the issues you mentioned. Regarding the smell that happened during your stay. This issues comes from Chair 6's restaurant that is located in the next door lot. We do not have any control over what our neighbors do however, we are in contact with the Village of Lake Placid and the Town and they are working with the restaurant to remedy the situation. I'm sorry you had trouble with the lock. The directions/faq's clearly point out that there are 2 combinations. It's important to take the time to read them throughly. On personal garbage. We are a "do-it-yourself" property and suggest that you take your garbage with you. The town dump is 2 minutes away. In cases where the dump is closed you may leave it. Thank you for staying with us and glad you had a good time.
