Description

The Penthouse apartment is located on the second floor of the Hideaway and is perfect for families. Young children? No worries, there is a safety gate at the top of the stairs. The Penthouse features an exceptionally large fully equipped kitchen with top-of-the-line accoutrements. It also includes linens, towels, dinnerware, silverware and cooking utensils--you only need to buy your groceries! WiFi is included and a washer and dryer are located in the community area for your convenience.

One of the two king bedrooms has an en suite bath. Have noisy teenagers who need a space of their own? The room with two twin beds has a separate entrance and also includes an en suite bathroom. The third bathroom is centrally located in the apartment just outside the second king bedroom and convenient for use in the open areas. A set of twin bunk beds is in an open area, along side a large desk for any business needs.

The Hideaway is in a neighborhood in the heart of the island, for an authentic taste of Aruban life. You can feel like you are part of the community, while being only minutes away from some of Aruba's most gorgeous, secluded beaches, supermarkets, excellent dining and favorite vacation activities. It offers privacy but convenience, and tranquil surroundings away from the hustle and bustle of the busy tourist scene, with breathtaking vistas from the Penthouse terraces.

The Penthouse terraces overlook views of the tranquil ocean in the distance. There are multiple patios for enjoying coffee and conversation, a refreshing pool that is shared with the other two apartments available for rent, and an area to barbeque meals for your family.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your booking page. To change your dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Kris (the owner) a message.

If Kris (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
