In Impro of Sfakia and in a altimeter of 800m there is the villa “Archontiko”, an architectures sample of the 18th century.
Featuring a private pool along with elements of local architecture, it offers a fully equipped unit with free Wi-Fi.
Fitted with stone arches and 2 fireplaces, the traditionally furnished and decorated villa at Archodiko comes with air conditioning. It consists of 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, 2 kitchens with stove and dining area, and 2 living rooms with satellite TV.
Guests may relax at the sun terrace with sun loungers by the pool or enjoy the BBQ facilities. A garden with grassy areas and trees is available.
Imbros Gorge is accessible within short walking distance while a tavern and a supermarket can be found 40 metres away. The beaches of Fragokastello are 10 km away and the town of Rethymno is 45 km away. Chania International Airport is 60 at a distance of 60 km.
It' s nice and quiet in Imbros, nice place for family holidays,a great spot, because you will need about half an hour to the northern and about the same time to southern coast of crete!

“Perfect and large villa with pool in the beautiful mountains of Imbros”
We visited the villa in late August. The weather was perfect every day. The evenings can be enjoyed in the garden. Beautiful villa situated in the beautiful countryside of Imbros in Sfakiaregionen. The house have a private pool and sunchairs and a view to all the beautiful mountains. A beautiful inner courtyard where one can sit in the shade of the big tree in the middle and enjoy good food and beverages. You does not want to leave the house! The villa is perfect for large families or a larger group of friends. It consists 5 double bedrooms / three separate units with separate kitchen and bathroom. All bedrooms have nice beds and ensuite bathrooms. In the little village of Imbros there is a little supermarket and two tavernas. There is a bigger supermarket in the village of Askifou 5 minutes drive from the house. The house is not suitable for those looking for party and nightlife, but it is perfect for those who enjoy walking in the mountains and at the same time want to be able to drive to beautiful beaches, or for they who just want to enjoy their holiday in a beautiful house with perfect poolarea for a quite holiday. A beautiful drive on fairly steep, but good roads, brings you to Chora Sfakia which is a beautiful Greekl little village by the Lybian sea. The tavernas is located like pearls on a string and offers good local food and beautiful views. From Chora Sfakion you can take the ferry to Loutro or elsewhere along the coast. The owner of the house is very nice and offers good service to his guests! We are certain that we are going to rent the house again! We rented a car to drive to the house, but yoy can even reach Imbros by lokal bus or taxi.

“Very nice villa with privacy for every guest at a perfect location to discover the island”
We had a very warm welcome from the owner and presented us local specialties and explained where to go to discover the island. The owner was always available for questions. Every bedroom has its own bathroom plus the two seperate apartments (with kitchen) gave us a lot of privacy within the property. The location between the Northern and Southern coast was perfect to go both ways to discover many beautiful places. And since the village is situated in the mountains, it was very quiet, typical cretan and temperatures were cooler. We had 2 sets of bed sheets + towels per week, and everything was very clean and well maintained. The swimming pool and garden were nicely maintained every 2 days. Everything is foreseen for guests with (small) children (bed, potty, child seat,...) Just one minor remark; the main kitchen in the house was not really equipped to cook for large groups (we were 10 people).
