Adare cottage has four large bedrooms & comfortably sleeps 8.
It has an enclosed back garden with a patio area and BBQ.
Please note the hot tub is for owenera use only and will be empty for rentals
There is an open plan Lounge/kitchen Diner on the ground floor, with a Shower room/toilet.
On the first floor is a Master Double Bedroom, Twin Bedroom with en-suite, and the Main Bathroom.
The Second floor has another Double Bedroom, a 2nd Double with an extra single bed suitable for a child , and a shower room serving the two bedrooms.
Ideally placed for touring West Cork and Kerry, this property is suitable for a family or group of friends. Water sports such as Fishing, Sailing, & Kayaking, are available locall and there are numerous scenic walks and beaches close by.
Castletownshend village is a two minute walk and offers: Children's playground, & Tennis Courts, The award winning Mary Ann's Restaurant, and a traditional Irish pub.

“What an amazing place”
We are an Irish family living in Asia & have visited this property twice when we return to Ireland for a summer holiday. We really love the house, the village it's situated in and the general area of West Cork. The local village pub is great, does good food & is a short walk away. We regularly also walked down to the Village pier or cycled to the nearby coves and beaches. The owners have young kids themselves & were great with suggestions on everything from great nearby restauraunts, day trips & also the many kids activities like sailing & horse riding. Overall a first class experience, we'll definitely return.

“Adare Cottage is a warm welcoming home away from home”
This is a lovely well appointed, house in a small quiet estate in Castletownsend. It is great for a family with children as they can play outside within full view with a pitch and small playground 2 mins away. There is a lovely sunny garden at the back where you can barbeque and enjoy the peace and quiet. It is also a deceptively spacious house with 4 double bedrooms plenty of shower rooms for a large family and lots of books ,games, Tv s, Dvds and information on local activities provided. Its location is great for exploring West Cork and all the lovely amenities around, the village has a great pub restaurant -Mary Annes which is very popular and welcomes kids. You are only a short drive to Skibbareen , Baltimore , Clonakility and Roscarberry all with lovely Cafes and shops! There are loads of lovely beaches around and directions to get to even the most remote ones! The downside is that you do have to drive to most places and the roads are not great for cycling with kids but there are lots cycling routes around which we haven't tried. All in all the Owners have gone to great lengths to make this a very welcoming and comfortable holiday home, a place you would want to return to again and again-and we have!
