“Truly wonderful”

Reviewed 23 Feb 2015

This was our first time in the region and we came away feeling that we had chosen the perfect location. The suite was beautiful, elegant and comfortable and the gardens were immaculate. The service and warm welcome from Mila also added to our feeling that we had found the perfect Tuscan retreat.

“Dreams do come true in Radda”

Reviewed 31 Aug 2014

We spent a month in Europe and Radda was the last leg of our journey and the absolute best part of our trip. Besides the breath taking vistas that abound in all directions, the accommodations are spectacular. A comfortable bed, a gorgeous bathroom and a quaint sitting area with sink and fridge. Evenings we would enjoy a glass of wine on the terrace overlooking the orchard. The gardens are filled with rows and rows of lavender. Exquisite! The entire villa is like a setting from a romantic movie about Italy. To be really decadent, we had a massage poolside that Mila arranged for us. It was heaven. It really is a place to find peace and tranquility, away from the noise of life. Mila is a charming hostess and a fountain of knowledge re the neighboring villages and history. She was fascinating to listen to and not the least bit intrusive. If we needed her she was there, otherwise she respected our privacy. My one wish would be, to have the opportunity to return again to this paradise. Thank you Mila for a wonderful experience in Chianti.

“Fantastic Experience”

Reviewed 10 Jun 2014

The whole experience of staying in the middle of Chianti for a week was exceptional. Mila was a very welcoming host and provided plenty of background to the history of Chianti and Albola. There was a well prepared list of recommendation on local attractions, restaurants, and activities. The Albola Suite was very appealing in luxury features, unfortunately the weather was a little cool for Aussies to use the swimming pool. Mila provided pre arrival advice on my concerns on driving on the right hand side of the road for the first time ever. We visited most of the local hill top towns, the people of Chianti were much friendlier than, Venice, Como or Milan. It was quite sad leaving Albola and Chianti.

“Heaven on Earth”

Reviewed 12 Nov 2013

We loved our stay The albola Suite. The views were breathtaking, the atmosphere was peaceful, the accommodations were clean, modern and luxurious and Mila and aubry were wonderful, caring, generous hosts. My husband and I stayed at the albola Suite for a week and we could have stayed forever! If you want to be close to many different towns, wonderful vineyards, beautiful scenery, amazing restaurants, this is the place to relax, enjoy and rest your head. Mila is so very kind and helpful and also gives you complete privacy. There was daily maid service, a wonderful little kitchenette which we cooked on many times, private use of the pool and a wonderful outdoor terrace where we spend many nights sitting and taking in the breathtaking views. The home is located a little outside of town which made for such a peaceful, experience and yet you could be in many different towns in just 15 minutes. The Suite is very private and spacious you almost feel as though you actually do live under the Tuscan Sun when you stay at this wonderful retreat.

“Incedible Stay in Chianti”

Reviewed 1 Nov 2013

My boyfriend and I spent two months traveling Europe and stayed in some amazing places, however our three nights in the albola Suite were by far the best. Mila, the property owner greeted us upon arrival to give us a warm welcome and detailed description of the region and it's history. Her and aubry's extensive list of restaurant recommendations helped us uncover some of the most unique and incredible flavors of Chianti, which would soon become some of the highlights of our trip. The suit is beautiful and clean. It's hard to believe but the pictures do not do the villa, hilltop and views any justice! Would recommend anyone traveling to the region not to look past this incredible property with breathtaking views, and hosts that are both friendly and helpful.

“We loved it!”

Reviewed 11 Aug 2013

Our stay at albola was way to short. We could have stayed for weeks. Such a beautiful and relaxing place. The suite is luxurious, the gardens beautiful and the views are mesmerizing. Mila is such a friendly and helpful host and she gave us loads of recomendations and info on the region. Defenitly a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle that is daily life.

“An unforgettable and unique experience in the Tuscan hills.”

Reviewed 15 Jun 2013

What an incredible and special place. We wanted to spend our honeymoon somewhere special and Mila and aubrey made sure that our few days in the Chianti countryside were definitely that. Just a few miles outside of Radda in Chianti surrounded by vineyards, forget the usual self catering accommodation, Albola suites gives you a glimpse inside Tuscan rural life we never thought possible. We loved chatting to our hosts who welcomed us like friends and really made us feel at home even making sure we had some essential provisions upon our late evening arrival. Mila's wonderful recommendations really made the difference and made sure we got the most from our first visit to Tuscany. The setting is so serene and the attention to detail is remarkable both inside and out. The extensive gardens are a great place to stroll around in the evening to soak in the incredible view across the vineyards of albola. The suite was cleaned daily with some lovely touches like the different biscotti treats laid out for us each day. Maybe one day we will get to return to this piece of paradise.

“Unforgettable stay at a unique Sproperty”

Reviewed 27 Jul 2012

We spent a great long weekend at albola Suite and were extremely happy with our choice of property and location. The residence is very well restored (practically brand new), very spacious for a couple, tastefully decorated and furnished. The garden is indeed very well kept and the view from the property (esp. the swimming pool) is unique. We found the location to be great for exploring the Chianti area, although of course, no matter where you stay, it takes some driving between the Chianti villages. The owners were very gratious and friendly, with extensive knowledge of the sights, food and wine of the region. They were very helpful in helping us organise our visits, choosing the right restaurants (this being Tuscany, all of course were perfect) and making our stay memorable. Thank you!
