“Home away from home”

Reviewed 6 Feb 2014

Our stay at this warm and peaceful hacienda was wonderful. All of the amenities are so easily at hand that our time was just pure relaxation. The pool setting amidst the panorama of San Pancho's beauty is breathtaking. Access to the many pleasures of the town are a few scant minutes away. While the comfort of Casa Flores entices you to just stay put, the tranquility of returning to our home away from home was the best part of our journeys out and about this most beautiful and welcoming town. Thank you for our great time at Casa Flores.

“Wonderful and peaceful”

Casa Flores was an amazing place to stay while visiting the lovely and Magical San Pancho. The house is clean, comfortable, quiet and has all the amenities for Yoga, exploring, cooking and relaxing. Sheri and Drew are gracious hosts and good communicators. We had a wonderful time in San Pancho the people are friendly and it is so easy to get around and get the food and supplies you need in town as well as incredible fruit and baked goods. Local restaurants were welcoming and very good - we did not have a bad meal in the two weeks we were there.

“Lovely spacious home with sunny patio and pool overlooking green”

Reviewed 27 Jan 2014

Sheri and Drew provide a beautiful modern three bedroom home on a quiet street in San Pancho. We began every evening at the beach at sunset, where the locals meet to plan the evening's social events. San Pancho has a lively restaurant scene, where the "gringos" and the locals meet and mingle on common ground. Every night there is music somewhere, and the restaurant tables overflow the sidewalks as new and old friends meet and catch up on the latest. Casa Flores is the perfect retreat for two couples to explore this friendly, incredible, artsy community. Highly recommended.

“Zen retreat in San Pancho”

Reviewed 27 Jan 2014

I love this pretty house, a clean, serene retreat that is even more zen because you can hear the waves from the beach but you face a beautiful green field where animals occasionally saunter by. It is very private. Everything you need. The owners have tastefully decorated the house with the hand of an artist. I have been here 4 times and I can't get it out of my head! The pool is absolutely wonderful! For a good time I sit and stare into the field for hours and watch birds and palm trees! Then later in the day for sunset, walk down to the beach for the last moments of sunlight with a wonderful margarita and live music. This is living!

“A Fantastic Place to Stay!”

Reviewed 27 Jan 2014

What a wonderful house in a wonderful town! As our three visits over the last three years attest, we love this rental and we love San Pancho. The house is perfectly set up, with two bedrooms, a bathroom with a shower, a utility room (washer/dryer), and living room and kitchen on the ground floor, and the master bedroom and bathroom on the top floor. It is clean, well-equipped, and beautifully decorated with local art and some pieces by the owners. You will spend a lot of time outside on the rear patio which backs onto a huge green space surrounded by lush jungle trees. Binoculars are provided, so watch the many iquanas who hang out (literally) in the tree across the field. You'll also enjoy cooling off and relaxing in the small pool, lounging on the deck chairs, and eating at the patio table. Upstairs, off the bedroom, is another small patio for soaking up the rays. Two mountain bikes are provided for exploring the area around San Pancho (ride the jungle roads out to the new polo field!) as are beach towels and beach chairs. The kitchen is well-supplied, and the wifi works well. The house is located on a side road in a very safe and friendly area. We never had one moment of worry about security. From the house it takes you just minutes to walk to the many, many great restaurants and shops in the town itself. It's a ten minute easy stroll down to the beautiful beach. The sandy beach is huge and great for sunbathing, but the waves might prove a bit much for weak swimmers and small children. The town has a friendly, laid-back vibe but is also bustling with the sounds and activities of the local community. Entre-Amigos is the fabulous community center, which provides many classes and workshops and serves as a gathering place for locals and gringos. You must head down to the beach at sunset for margaritas and music at one of the three bars on the sand! The owners, Drew and Sheri, are great people to deal with, as is Eduardo the local manager. Enjoy!

“What a nice house!”

Everyone, who´s looking for a place in San Pancho, should take this one! We fell in love with the house the moment we entered! San Pancho truely was a great place for us to relaxe - very nice people and good restaurants - and for sure a very niche beach and great sunsets ...

“An Incredible Week!”

Reviewed 12 Sep 2012

We had a wonderful week in this beautiful home! The house is so spacious, beautifully decorated, and comfortable. I enjoyed reading a book picked from the shelf by the open back doors on many a quiet morning. The location was so convenient to shops, restaurants, and the beach that we never regretted not renting a car. On the two occasions that we decided to venture out and explore other villages, taxis were easy to find and very affordable. We quickly met the friendly neighbors and shopkeepers and enjoyed eating at the local restaurants. Every meal was wonderful. We even cooked a couple of meals, as the kitchen contains all of the pots, pants, and utensils that one could ever need. The Owner and Property Manager were both very responsive. We didn't have many questions while in the house because everything had been so well outlined and explained in advance. The house was immaculate when we arrived and was cleaned once (beautifully) during our stay. Our only regret was not visiting the community center, Entre amigos, earlier in the week so that we could have taken advantage of the class offerings. We will be sure to do so next time, which we plan to be sooner rather than later!

“Fantastic place!”

Reviewed 19 Jul 2012

Casa Flores is a beautiful house just a couple of blocks from the main street--very comfortable and clean in a quiet area, safe and secure. Only a few minutes walk to several excellent restaurants, and a 10 minute walk to a long, sandy, uncrowded beach (maybe 30 people on a busy day!). Loved the "margaritas at sundown" at one of the 3 beachside bars. San pancho is a lovely small town, very community-oriented and friendly. I'll be back for sure.

“Comfortable stay for great value in beautiful San Pancho”

Reviewed 16 Feb 2012

My family of three was utterly charmed by the town of San Pancho and Casa Flores provided us with a very comfortable stay at great value. The house is very close to the main drag (with many noteworthy eateries) and an easy walk from the beach for sunbathing and magnificent sunsets. The house was well maintained and spacious and, as first-time travelers to Mexico, we all felt very safe and secure during our stay. There are lots of dogs in the town, which caused some noise in the front (kids) bedroom, but other than that it was quiet. A very nice place to vacation!
