Great deal in San Pancho - Casa Flores

San Francisco house

2 bedrooms / 2 bathrooms / sleeps 4

“Home away from home” Our stay at this warm and peaceful hacienda was wonderful. All of the amenities are so easily at hand that our time was just pure relaxation. The pool setting amidst the panorama of San Pancho's beauty is breathtaking. Access to the many pleasures of the town are a few scant minutes away. While the comfort of Casa Flores entices you to just stay put, the tranquility of returning to our home away from home was the best part of our journeys out and about this most beautiful and welcoming town. Thank you for our great time at Casa Flores.

Villa # 3 of Villa Esperanza

San Francisco apartment

3 bedrooms / 3 bathrooms / sleeps 8

“This one has it all and is very well priced!” This second floor unit with a wonderful roof patio (complete with a huge palapa) was exactly what we were looking for: very comfortable accommodations for 3 couples, only two blocks from the beach and from the main street, quiet, beautiful views, well stocked kitchen and great service! When we arrived we asked for extra towels and a few other items which were quickly provided. We fixed most of our meals (at home) and enjoyed eating on the roof patio. It felt very private because we were surrounded by green space and other homes. My only complaint was getting prompt responses from my early email inquiries and confirmation of my payments but it all worked out just fine. I would highly recommend this location for budget minded travelers who seek comfort but not "bling!"

Casa Colibrí - Ocean View! - San Pancho

San Francisco house

2 bedrooms / 3 bathrooms / sleeps 5

“Quiet, private paradise in fabulous location - the perfect getaw” A week at Casa Colibri was the most restful, restorative vacation we've ever had. The house is absolutely gorgeous; architecturally and interiors' attention to detail and comfort were top notch. Immaculate, beautiful home lovingly cared for, above the jungle canopy and surrounded by lush tropical landscape. You awake to the songs of exotic birds and fall asleep listening to the ocean waves. Being within walking distance to town, but not in town, is perfect because it's quieter with lovely breezes than the bustling little village of San Pancho which can be noisy. We shall return!

“Nice Place In San Pancho” Very lovely house in the heart of the pueblo. Nice layout, lovely artistic touches. A couple kinks needed to be straightened out. But enjoyable stay. Would suggest a solar pool cover, as the small pool was pretty cold...even in May. Wonderful management and great rental company!

About San Francisco

About San Francisco

San Francisco is located along the pacific coast and is right on the Sierra de Vallejo Reserve. It was first founded in 1524 by the Spanish. During this time, locals had industries in fishing and crop growing which is still evident to this day.

It was during the 1970's when the initial tourist industry came to light, making San Francisco the place it is today. President Luis Echeverria decided to build his vacation home here and intended to make this destination self-sufficient. Over the years, the resort has benefited due to these initial efforts and now tourists come to visit San Francisco throughout the year.

Its quaint aura still contains traditional Mexican vibes in terms of the cultural sights and buildings located around the resort as well as the traditional foods on offer in most restaurants.

What to do

If you're a fan of shopping, you'll be in your element in San Francisco. Most shops contain handmade Mexican gifts and clothing which are extremely unique in style.

There are very regular art appreciation events which take place regularly within the resort.. There is also an annual music festival.

The local beaches are a real favorite with both locals and tourists, with many choosing to go surfing on the soft waves or even snorkeling. The stretch is approximately a 15-minute walk from one side to the other and is a perfect beach for families are there isn't a great deal of current.

You may also decide to go horseback riding to see the true beauty of San Francisco. By doing so, you'll be sure to spot the surrounding mountains and travel through white sands.

Top San Francisco travel tips

There are several buses which travel around the resort at extremely cheap prices and may be the best way to get around, but you may also decide on a car rental out of ease.

Luxury 6,800 ft Villa Boda, Spectacular Ocean View
This place is beautifull!!!

I recently attended a friend's wedding here and Villa Boda proved to be amazing! It's a little north of Sayulita, and a short drive depending on traffic. The Villa is nestled up on the hillside with a straight line view of the ocean in the distance, the valley below and other hills off to the sides. It feels like you have the whole area to yourself, because you pretty much do. We had quite a few people for the wedding so we kicked the music up a few notches, and noise was no issue. The Villa is brand new with an incredible attention to Mexican architectural detail and flair. It's colorful, comfortable, and has a number of different indoor and outdoor spaces to both entertain and relax. You can hang out by the pool and chill out, or jump in the car and hit the beach with is a short distance away. While we were there to celebrate a wedding it's also a perfect spot to just bring the family, some other couples or friends, and just hang out. Also for families, the yard is enclosed so you can let the kids just run around. There's a ton of privacy as well as a security gate to access to the road up to the Villa. I would certainly go back here another time and recommend it to anyone looking for a quality place and space around this area in Mexico.see more
Villa del Tigre - Beachfront! - San Pancho
Great luxurious place to get away and still get the cool experie

We've been to San Pancho a bunch of times, and decided to go high-end this time, and Villa del Tigre didn't disappoint. We were greeted by the house manager and concierge, and they made sure we had everything we needed, and availed themselves to us throughout the week, helping to arrange surfing, restaurant recommendations, mani/pedis for the ladies and a personal chef. The home itself is very nice, sleeps 7 adults and a child very easily. The pool for a 3 year old made it a dream for our daughter. The beach is right outside the gate, and the sunsets are epic. This is a great place to go and hang out by the pool, catch waves and live in the lap of luxury. It is close to town, and a 5 minute walk down the beach will put you in town for dinner, or they can arrange a great chef (Thomas). We highly recommend his chicken mole with fresh tortillas, the best mole we've ever eaten. The gardener and maid are there every day, and the maid makes a great continental breakfast, and if we need anything, they can help make it happen. We had minor issues with the hot tub and irrigation system and these were resolved quickly.see more
Casa Kenya - In town with ocean view! - San Pancho
Great Experience

Staying at Casa Kenya was really an excellent choice for us because it was clean, comfortable, quiet, peaceful and yet close enough to everything we needed. We were walking most of the time and we always appreciated the great view we had when we got back home. The big hill was not so big after all and got us in shape. Overall Casa Kenya worked out great for us. Hot water, wifi, air conditioning and a great kitchen and a great view. Perfect.see more

Perfect house and location

We enjoyed Casa Colbri very much. Having the ocean view and the jungle view was just perfect. The house was spotless and very well furnished. Gorgeous inside and out. The pool was a great place to cool off and relax. Loved the big shady palapa. The species of birds in the area were remarkable. Will for sure return. Really enjoyed the town of San Pancho. Nice little beach town. San Pancho rentals did an excellent job of handling our reservation and the security deposit was returned within 24 hours. Thanks!see more

My husband and I and two other couples stayed at Casa Sweetwater recently, and felt like we were in a tropical paradise palace! The views from the pool and bedrooms are unbeatable, the house manager was available and easy to communicate with, and the house was equiped with full kitchen, living room and pool area needs! We highly recommend this house and look forward to returning.see more
Casa Puesta del Sol - Ocean View! - San Pancho
Lovely House in Charming San Pancho

Just returned from a 10-day stay at Casa Puesta del Sol. We loved the house and San Pancho, but a few things noted in previous reviews are true -- the house is on a cliff with 3 decks that provide a spectacular view of the ocean and the sound of the waves lulled us asleep each night. There is a cobble stone (steep) road down to the beach, but I personally loved the stroll and my kids (9 and 11 yrs old) were fine with it -- it was an adventure and a departure from our every day life for sure. San Pancho is about a 15 minute walk along the beach, again an adventure that we enjoyed. Juan Franco, the caretaker, was so helpful, kind and attentive when things didn't go just right, which can happen in Mexico. And, I can't say enough about the two meals Juan Franco prepared for us...if he ever opens a restaurant in the future - we will dine there ever night.see more
