“Wonderful and peaceful” Casa Flores was an amazing place to stay while visiting the lovely and Magical San Pancho. The house is clean,comfortable, quiet and has all the amenities for Yoga, exploring, cooking and relaxing. Sheri and Drew are gracious hosts and good communicators. We had a wonderful time in San Pancho the people are friendly and it is so easy to get around and get the food and supplies you need in town as well as incredible fruit and baked goods. Local restaurants were welcoming and very good - we did not have a bad meal in the two weeks we were there.

“This one has it all and is very well priced!” This second floor unit with a wonderful roof patio (complete with a huge palapa) was exactly what we were looking for: very comfortable accommodations for 3 couples, only two blocks from the beach and from the main street, quiet, beautiful views, well stocked kitchen and great service! When we arrived we asked for extra towels and a few other items which were quickly provided. We fixed most of our meals (at home) and enjoyed eating on the roof patio. It felt very private because we were surrounded by green space and other homes. My only complaint was getting prompt responses from my early email inquiries and confirmation of my payments but it all worked out just fine. I would highly recommend this location for budget minded travelers who seek comfort but not "bling!"

“Beautiful inspiring residence, easy walk to town” My partner and I spent 5 nights in this 2 bedroom duplex. There was no one in the upstairs unit while we were there so we could easily use the rooftop terrace as well as the swimming pool which was at our ground floor level. All of the amenities were here. We cooked alot and found everything we needed. San Pancho is a wonderful Mexican town, largely unspoiled by tourism. I highly recommend Casa alegre for a vacation rental.

“Quiet, private paradise in fabulous location - the perfect getaw” A week at Casa Colibri was the most restful, restorative vacation we've ever had. The house is absolutely gorgeous; architecturally and interiors' attention to detail and comfort were top notch. Immaculate, beautiful home lovingly cared for, above the jungle canopy and surrounded by lush tropical landscape. You awake to the songs of exotic birds and fall asleep listening to the ocean waves. Being within walking distance to town, but not in town, is perfect because it's quieter with lovely breezes than the bustling little village of San Pancho which can be noisy. We shall return!

“Heavenly house” Casa Melissa was the most beautiful vacation house I've had the pleasure of staying in. I rent 2-3 vacation houses a year in Tahoe and Hawaii and this house was the best ever! The infinity pool was spectacular and the tennis court was a fabulous opportunity for exercise. The house was equipped with every necessity, from plenty of towels, to a coffee grinder and all the essential cookware. The water cooler was a thoghful touch too! The house and furniture are beautiful and a classy, comfortable, clean example of traditional Mexican architechutre. Truly a perfect house for family, friends and mixed groups. I can't wait to go back!

“Wonderful place, lovely stay...” This home was absolutely perfect for our needs. The location is great as it is walking distance to shops and restaurants. Everything is new. Very nice furniture and furnishings. Good air conditioners. It even had an amazing washer and dryer. The bathrooms are very spacious. The kitchen well equipped. “Breathtaking views from every room” I rented Casa Puesta del Sol for 10 days. It was my fifth, and most memorable visit to San Pancho. The house has some of the most beautiful vistas in town. Caren and allison made sure that we had everything we needed and were instrumental in helping us find this gem of a house. Location affords a spectacular view of the entire coast, as well as, an amazing view of the ocean/horizon. First day brought whales breaching and outstanding bird-watching. A short walk to the bottom of the drive and you're at Marplata, one of the best (if not the best) restaurant in San Pancho. 15 minute beach walk into town. Nothing better to falling alseep to nothing but the sound of the waves crashing on the beach!

About San Francisco
San Francisco is located along the pacific coast and is right on the Sierra de Vallejo Reserve. It was first founded in 1524 by the Spanish. During this time, locals had industries in fishing and crop growing which is still evident to this day.
It was during the 1970's when the initial tourist industry came to light, making San Francisco the place it is today. President Luis Echeverria decided to build his vacation home here and intended to make this destination self-sufficient.
