Description

Charming 1930's home with original hardwood floors, original knobs and other fixtures, large backyard, and plenty of parking. We completely remodeled the home in 2011, but maintained its original character and charm. There's a full 2 bedrooms with queen size beds and a foldout sofa couch for additional sleeping. Complimentary laundry facility is included. The guest home has everything that you would need from dishes, pots and pans, a toaster, stove, refrigerator, table and chairs, towels, and fresh sheets.

It's located in the heart of Hyde Park in central Austin within walking distance to restaurants, a bakery, and other local businesses. ASTI, Quack's Mother's Cafe, Julio's, and several other restaurants are close by. There is a public bus stop one block away that will take you anywhere in the city including downtown.

My wife and I live nearby, so we're always available if you have any questions about Austin or need any suggestions for sights to see or places to eat. We hope that you select our wonderful guest house for your stay!

How do damage deposits work?

If Pete (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
