“Great family vacation”

Reviewed 20 Mar 2013

We just got back from another great stay at Sayulita Suites! Our kids are 4 years older now (12 and 14) and we all stayed comfortably in the Tulip suite. We really enjoyed surfing on the boogie boards provided. We also hung out in the beautiful front courtyard in the shade, reading and sketching, and enjoyed drinks with Lyn on the rooftop patio with its splendid view. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed - right down the blender for pina coladas! We were able to take the 5 minute walk into town for dinner or cook at home using great local produce and delicious fresh fish. A most memorable stay that we look forward to repeating!

Response from the owner Hi Kristin, So glad you enjoyed your stay with us, we certainly enjoyed having your family stay with us again. Couldn't believe how the kids had grown! Where do the years go? Look forward to having you come again. Take care and travel safely, where ever you go. Lyn and the chihuahuas

“Sayulita Suites - 10 stars!”

Reviewed 20 Mar 2013

I arrived on February 26th and the owner of Sayulita Suites picked me up promptly at the airport. After arriving at Sayulita Suites she quickly made sure that I had everything I needed and I instantly felt at home. The premises are perfect, not too far from the plaza or beach, but far enough away to have some privacy. Had I my time back, I would have stayed for a month! I stayed by myself, but there was plenty of room for a couple or even small child. The suites have everything you need, really a home away from home.

Response from the owner Hi Lori, So glad you enjoyed your stay with us. It was fun having you. I have put your hat away safely for your return next season. The sun is still shining brightly and we just passed the parade with all the tiny kids dressed up in costumes, they are so adorable. Take care and enjoy the summer and see you next winter. Lyn and the Chihuahuas

“Comfort and convenience in a beautiful setting”

Reviewed 10 Mar 2012

What a wonderful stay my boyfriend and I had at Sayulita Suites! The location was perfect -- just a bit removed from the sounds of the main streets, and close enough to the beach to stroll down in about 6 minutes. The Tulip Room was large, clean and comfortable. The fully equipped kitchen inspired us to use the abundant fresh local ingredients to make tropical fruit smoothies, guacamole and margaritas. The front and rooftop patios were beautifully decorated with tropical plants, a perfect place to doze and sunbathe or read in the shade of an umbrella. We had planned to take bus, but Lyn was kind enough to call me the morning of our flight and pick us up from the airport, which was fantastic. Lyn had lots of great information about amenities and the community in a binder in our room, including a map and restaurant reviews. I will definitely recommend Sayulita Suites to anyone planning a trip, and I hope to be back next year!

Response from the owner Thank you for your review and I am so glad you enjoyed your vacation with us as much as we enjoyed having you stay. We look forward to seeing again next season. Travel safely. Lyn

“Just what we were looking for!”

We stayed for a week in Dec. 2011 at Lyn Hainstock's "Casa Dulces Suenos" in Sayulita, Nayarit. The house itself is lovely, with a tropical entry garden, and 6 self-contained and roomy suites with cooking facilities. At the top level is a charming patio sitting area with view. The kitchen in our suite [Orchid] was so spacious and well-supplied, and we were inspired to cook several dinners with local ingredients...fresh tuna, prawns, peppers, cilantro , lime and garlic... with a side of olive bread from a local bakery. I think it was the location of our vacation home which added so much to the delight of spending a week in Sayulita. I felt that we were part of the surrounding countryside, first walking along the river, then through small Mexican neighbourhoods before reaching our front gate. The walk home is short, but it does remove one from the noises of town and allows one to wake with the sound of roosters rather than all-night revellers. Lyn [who seasonally occupies a suite in the house] was always available to give us suggestions. In fact, on our first day, she took me grocery shopping and gave me a tour of the town in her car - which was extremely helpful in getting oriented. In the suite is a very helpful binder with suggestions for local restaurants, excursions around town etc., but I found it was wonderful to be able to count on the resources that Lyn and asst. manager Eduardo were able to personally share with us. We were treated to several excursions with Lyn driving to near-by towns to attend amazing local markets, plus a guided walk to an isolated and pristine beach with Eduardo that would have been difficult to find on our own. And did I mention Chihuahuas? Lyn has 3 of the most adorable small dogs who helped cure me from missing our own dog too much. Sayulita is a delightful destination, but the chance to stay at Casa Dulces Suenos definitely made our week a most enjoyable experience.

“fantastic facilities and location”

I have stayed at Sayulita Suites on three separate occasions and each time it was a great vacation. Lyn, the owner, goes to no end of trouble to make sure your stay is comfortable and pleasant. The accommodation is comfortable with great beds, kitchen and bathroom and all decorated differently in each suite. A pleasant walk into the village and the beach takes only 5 minutes. I will definately recommend Sayulita Suites for anyone wanting a relaxing vacation.

“Best Place In Sayulita”

Reviewed 19 Jun 2011

I lived in Sayulita Suites from October 2009 through Sepetmebr 2010 and therefore know the town well enough to make any reviews. Sayulita Suites is located in the Tamarindo neighborhood, which is one of the best areas in town. Less than 5 minute walk from the center and the beach. You can walk everywhere and do all that you need. The house is newly built, cozy with lots of plants and flowers around, a sitting area in the yard, a roof top with chairs and kitchen for guests to use. The owner, Lyn, lives on the property for most of the year and she really takes care of the property and will provide you with anything that you may need. The units are fully and nicely furnished, clean and comfortable beds, extra sets of sheets and towels, complete kitchen, enough closet space, and wireless internet access. There is also a laundry room with detergents provided, a barbque, a library of books, Dvds, and games. The price based on the website ranges from $75-$110 USD per night depending on the season. If this is within your budget you should definitely try this place. Good people with good energy come and go here. Please note this is not a hotel and so there is no services. You will have to take care of the unit yourself as if it is your own house, but the owner provieds everything that you may need. I would highly recommend this place for short or long term visit.

“wonderful”

Reviewed 28 May 2011

Our accommodations were bright and clean, well equipped. Lyn is a very friendly and accommodating host. We enjoyed meeting and socializing with the other guests. We made good use of the roof top patio (the one out front is great also). Our location to town ,beach and taking early morning hikes was very centrally located. Looking forward to going back again next year.
