Description

This is a Classic Caribbean styled home with white shutter windows and doors, coloured tiled floors, solid wood floors and furniture.

It's a refreshing experience to be such an antique environment, yet the Barbados suite is not old at all! We have designed and created this suite and the Plantation house only some years ago. Adhering strictly to an elegant Caribbean style and incorporating modern amenities and comforts of today, we believe Barbados suite will offer the best of both worlds.

The Plantation house is perfectly located on a residential block with in the heart of the tourist area. The Beach is just around the corner a block away, and the Famous pedestrian walkway 5th Ave is also just a block from us. Both run parallel with our street First Avenue which runs right in between them!

Since we are s well located. Walking will get you to most interests in town. If you want to explore further down the coast. We can suggest several options like hiring a taxi, bus, or colectivo. Sometimes renting a car for a day or two is helpful too.

Interaction with guest

Both Françoise and I are happy to assist with your vacation needs. Before and during your stay. I am living near by, year round. I enjoy meeting our new guests and sharing some tips with them. I generally don't come knocking on your door in respect of your privacy and rest. Our maids, Virginia or Mariela are very trustworthy and will come by to clean your suite a few times in the week. You can request that she come at an earlier or later time of day up until 3pm.

House rules

Smoking is permitted only on exterior private spaces. Not indoors or in common area near pool or staircase.

Noise levels should be kept down after 10pm. No entertaining/parties on the premises.
$40 fee per stay for a pet due on arrival.

Pool hours are between 10 am and 10 pm. Parents must be present at all times with children in/around pool area. Children and yes, adults, must keep voices down when swimming in pool. No yelling and screaming. Respecting other guests.

Response from the owner We are happy to know you'll plan to return to our Plantation house. Just to clarify to our readers, this penthouse does have a private indoor shower :) The second shower on your private terrace, has a 3/4 round wall, providing privacy to the open terrace, but the open access may create a sense of freedom. I think I'll go take a look at adding a swinging door to close it off completely. keeping only the open blue sky above! The third floor penthouses are accessible by stairs only. We do have an electric dumb waiter for our guest's luggage, or groceries. So you won't have to carry anything up! We look forward to receiving you some day, in our ground floor Antigua suite, its also has many charms! Thanks for your time to write!
