“Una buona sistemazione nel centro della città”

L'appartamento è situato al quarto piano, quindi occhio al peso delle valigie. Risulta ben tenuto, sia il bagno che la cucina son ben attrezzati e puliti. La camera e il salotto sono spaziosi e accoglienti. Essendo situato in centro si arriva bene a piedi sia a Princes Street (negozi) che ai Meadows (parco). L'unica nota negativa è lo stato generale delle scale della palazzina, come tutte le case del centro le scale sono un pò vecchie. Infine il venerdì e il sabato sera qualche voce dalla strada si sente ma niente di particolarmente fastidioso.

If walking upstairs to 4th floor is not a problem, I highly recommend this Apt. Airport bus drops you right close to Waverley station which is minutes walk from Apartment. Royal mile st across it where most of the famous attractions are. Well maintained by owner!

This is definitely a lovely flat, very convenient for travel. Everything is kindly provided, even including a bottle of wine as a kind of "welcome" from the landlord. I stayed here for three months, and enjoyed so much. I will recommend this property to anyone.

“Warm and familiar flat in the center”

We spent 4 days in this flat and enjoyed it a lot!! The fireplace was amazing, we spent more or less all of our time in front of it, when we were at home. Its central location was also great, as we could just pop up for another pair of gloves or a jumper in the middle of the day...and it's not that rare in Scotland, that you're frozen after walking a few hours.From the roof terrace we had a great view to the city, there are also grill sets there...maybe during the summer we go back to try them :)

“Our second home...”

This is probalbly the 7th or 8th time we stayed here and we regard the Jeffrey Street apartment as our second home. If it were our own, we wouldn't change a thing. The location is perfect for first timers as well as frequent visitors. This time we went for a day trip to Glasgow, the rail way station is a 5 minute walk. To be honest, we were glad we were back in Edinburgh at the end of the day... The staff is very kind, helpful and service oriented! We're looking forward to our next stay in Jeffrey Street!

What to say? This flat is amazing! No way it the perfect base for visiting a city like Edinburgh or the surrounding area. Being in the very heart of the city changes everything and gives this place a added value! The flat is very comfortable and well furnished! It practically has everything you'd need!

L'appartamento è molto carino, pulito ed è fornito di tutto. E' situato in un quartiere tranquillo e vicinissimo alla Royal Mile e alla stazione dei treni e dei pullman. Il proprietario è stato gentilissimo con noi. Se dovessi ritornare ad Edimburgo risceglierei, se disponibile, questo appartamento e lo consiglio a tutti.

“Adorable Flat in Great Location”

Staying at Flat 14 on Jeffrey Street was great. It is a half block from the Royal Mile/High Street, so walking distance to the major sights, as well as convenient to as many pubs, restaurants and stores as your heart could desire. And it's a half block to the World's End Pub, which is one of my favorites. There are wonderful views from the flat, as well as a roof top area that is accessible for guests. Martin from Vacation Rentals Scotland was very responsive to any inquiries we had. The flat was very clean, with plenty of fresh linens, a wonderfully furnished kitchen and a welcoming bottle of wine! Other touches included full directions for everything related to the flat, lots of Dvd's and books, and a gas fireplace to cozy up the nights. I would highly recommend this flat, though know that it is a 4th floor walk up so possibly not suited to anyone with mobility issues. I will definitely be contacting this management company next time I visit Edinburgh, and I know they have additional apartments as well.

A lovely apartment in an excellent location. This apartment has everything you could need for a home away from home. The owners thoughtfully provided milk, tea & coffee and even a selection of Scottish themed books and Dvds for a quiet night in after a days sight-seeing. Jeffrey Street is about half way down the Royal Mile so is in a great position for the main attractions of the old town and just a short walk across the bridge to Princes Street and the new town. For the essentials there is a newsagent on the street and small supermarkets not far away. The owner has left directions to all the local amenities. The hop on / hop off tour buses stop on the street, are a great way to see the city and really good value if you get a 48 hour pass. I love Edinburgh and hope to visit again soon. The only drawback with this apartment if you are not fit is that it is on the 4th floor and there isn't a lift but then Edinburgh has many stairs so a few more don't really matter, and if you climb one more flight you are rewarded with views of the city from the rooftop terrace.
