An estate nestled in the hills near the beautiful walled city of Lucca. The houses are both secluded and private, surrounded by gardens, woodland & olive groves. Both villas have been renovated to a high standard of comfort, keeping the terracotta tiles & chestnut beams traditional features of Tuscan buildings. All bath & pool towels are provided & the rooms have lovely bedlinen. Personal touches are the welcome gift basket, hairdryers in each room, and an introductory basket of toiletries. Each bedroom has an electric fan. There is free to view T.V., DVD & ipad/ipod/iphone speaker/docking station. WIFI internet for personal use only.

La Pianella Villa was completely renovated recently, leaving all the original architectural features intact, while bringing all the services and comforts up to modern standards. The Tuscan Villa has been thoroughly modernized to guarantee that your holiday in Tuscany will be as comfortable as your home, even in winter with traditional central heating.
Ground floor consists of comfortable, large sitting room with stunning open fireplace (wood supplied!); Dining room; extremely well-equipped kitchen with electric double oven, 6 gas burners, extra large dishwasher & 2 fridges; guest W.C.; Small double bedroom with en suite shower room; Large double/twin bedroom with en suite bathroom; Double/twin bedroom with with private bathroom. All bedrooms with French windows opening onto garden; There is also a barn with washing machine, wood supplies and an extra fridge. On the first floor are the other 5 bedrooms, each unique with fabulous views, private balcony or terrace. There is a family suite with large, master double bedroom & smaller twin bedroom with en suite bathroom; Double bedroom with en suite bathroom; Twin bedroom & family dormitory both sharing bathroom.
La Pianella Villa is surrounded by a beautiful garden with a lovely terrace for eating "al fresco" meals & offers privacy and shade for playing or relaxing on the sun loungers.

The Villa has a super all weather astro-turf tennis court in possibly the most beautiful situation in the whole of Tuscany. (rackets provided)
On the terrace above the Villa is the superb, private 15 m x 7.5 m salt water swimming-pool with its own changing room which conveniently also houses a fridge for those all important refreshments.
There is also a pizza oven, BBQ, paella outdoor gas pan, table tennis
This ideal location makes Florence, Siena, San Gimignano & Pisa easily reachable for days trips.
The beaches of Versilia - Viareggio, Torre del Lago and Forte dei Marmi are near enough, if you would like a day at the sea.
