Waters Edge is a luxurious, recently built (finished July '07) custom built log cabin on the shore of beautiful, sparkling Watauga Lake. With 106 miles of shoreline and fabulous coves and islands to explore, use the canoe and kayak provided or bring your own boat and keep it at your very own private dock that comes with the cabin. Rental boats are also available at Fish Springs Marina, with a $10.00 discount on 1st day rental for guests of Waters Edge.

Four bedrooms sleeping 8 and two queen sleeper sofa beds sleeping 4 more. Home theater, stereo inside and out, and fully furnished kitchen. Window walls facing the lake with mountains on one side and mountains on the other. Outside are 4 decks, a balcony, and fire ring next to your own personal dock. Take out your complimentary canoe and kayak, or fish and swim off the dock.

Only 50 to 60 minutes to 4 ski slopes. Whitewater rafting, the Appalachian Trail, gem mining, shops, restaurants, parks, and museums from 5 to 45 minutes or more away. Watauga Lake Winery is 10 minutes away during season.

If you have to stay in touch with the office, don't fret. Hook up to the wireless network high speed internet, plus make unlimited long distance calls within the continental U.S.

The only response that I offer is that little children love it too, but they must be under adult supervision when outside. After all, it is in the mountains and right on the water.
