Description from owner
Description
Bluefolds Highland Holiday cottages, Glenlivet, Scotland have panoramic views to the Mountains in the Cairngorms National Park. Pets are welcome. Our 3 cottages are set on a hillside within farmland with lots of open space in Glenlivet. This location, to the east of the Cairngorm Mountains, is dryer and sunnier than areas to the west of Scotland. The wildlife in Glenlivet and the Cairngorms is exceptional such as Red Deer, Roe Deer and Red Squirrels; along with whisky distilleries and castles both lived in and romantic ruins. Aberlour Cottage at the centre of the steading building with 2 bedrooms, 1 twin ground floor and 1 double and single upstairs; :lounge/dinning room and kitchen. The cottage is south facing with patio doors opening into a walled garden within a fenced garden. Roe deer can be seen in the fields near the cottage in the early morning and evening. We welcome well behaved dogs - normally 1. Excellent area for walking, wildlife and whisky!

Response from the owner Hi Carsten thank you for your review (google translate below) we are please that you enjoyed your first stay enough to return and the second time around you enjoyed it again, looking forward to your third visit maybe to coincide with one of the whisky festivals. See you again soon Chris and Sue (Google translation - 608/5000 An apartment in an ideal location in the Speyside. The perfect accommodation to explore the area, be it whiskey distilleries, castles and palaces, or just a base for hikes. What you must have seen is the view from the living room over the Glenlivet valley, just unbelievable. Three years ago we've been to Bluefolds Glenlivet Cottage and now in Aberlour, let's see if it will be Glendronach Cottage next time. Also, the new owner Chris is an incredibly nice host who has many tips on the area and the sights.)
