This end-terrace cottage is located in the village of Eyemouth and can sleep five people in three bedrooms.Creel Cottage is an end-terrace cottage in the village of Eyemouth just four miles from Chirnside. The cottage sleeps five people and has two king-size bedrooms and one single with a family bathroom. Also in the cottage are a first floor fitted kitchen with dining area, a dining room and a sitting room. Outside is roadside parking next to the cottage. Situated in the heart of the Scottish Borders, Creel Cottage is a lovely family holiday cottage all year round.
Amenities: Gas central heating. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, condenser dryer, dishwasher, TV with FreeSat, DVD, CD/radio, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair on request. Roadside parking next to cottage. Two well-behaved pets welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shops, pubs and beach 1 min walk. Note: Check in 5pm and check out time is 9am
Region: From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain's best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.
Town: Situated on the east coast, just over the Scottish border, and only eight miles north of Berwick upon Tweed, Eyemouth has been a bustling fishing port for centuries, and there is still a fish market supplied from local fishing boats today. Narrow cobbled streets preserve the ancient character of this delightful coastal town, and there are a number of visitor attractions outlining the history of the area. Visit Gunsgreen House and learn some of the history of the town and the smuggling that once took place, or enjoy the museum, fishing heritage centre and art galleries on offer.
