OUR LAKE HOME IS A WEEKLY RENTAL ONLY-- for a maximum of 10 guests (Adults and children). A peaceful retreat for multi-generational families or small groups to spend quality time together.
The Sagewood Cabin located in Lakeshore, MN is a Northwood's style cabin nestled in the pines on upper Gull Lake in the Brainerd Lakes Area. It is situated near Nisswa , MN just over 2 hours North of the Twin Cities. It is located just around the corner from Zorbaz and Bar Harbor off of Highway 371.
The lakefront cabin has lovely lake views and over 2000 finished square feet of living space. This cabin is ideal for multi-generational families or two separate families because it offers 2 separate living areas. Both sides have kitchens, full bathrooms and access to the private deck. This unique set up offers privacy but also plenty of areas for the entire group to congregate. Both areas have knotty pine, large windows with picturesque views of Upper Gull Lake, comfortable furnishings. wrap around decks and a four season porch. In addition, 3 - Flat screen TV's a , DVD player, movies, streaming options, and board games are provided for indoor entertainment. The outside features 174 feet of shoreline with a new dock and a Kennedy Pedal Pontoon boat that can be used for fishing, floating. exercise or as a swimming platform. The bay is quiet and calm, perfect for a leisurely cruise, floating on a raft or taking a swim off the Pontoon. You can also use our 2 kayaks and tie up your own boat at our dock. The Public access is just 5 minutes away. You may want to host a family ping pong or Foosball tournament in the separate game room, or set up the croquet set in the yard. Our lake home retreat is very peaceful with lots of wild life and the sounds of Loons. Enjoy making s'mores around the large fire pit or take a siesta in the rope hammock. You won't find a better place to relax and unwind!
The cabin sleeps 10 people. One side includes a king sized bed and a pull out sleeper sofa. The other side has a queen bed, Bunk room with 4 bunk beds, and a full size log bed in another room. Kids love our bunk toom. You will find all the amenities of home-- a washer and dryer, bedding and towels, a kitchen fully stocked with cookware and dishes, a microwave ovens and a dishwasher. A Gas grill and propane are provided to cook whatever you wish, so no need to bring charcoal and fluid! An evening campfire at the lakeside fire pit is a must.
Remember to pack your favorite lures and poles, and don't forget your beach towels! Our bay is famous for crappie fishing! It is also a popular lake for catching Walleye and Northern. If you bring your own boat, you are a 5 minute boat ride to Zorbaz and Bar Harbor or less than ten minutes to the main lake. If you don't have a boat there are some rental options nearby that we can refer you too or as previously mentioned you can use our pedal pontoon which is fun for both kids and adults.
This is a great area for golf with many championship courses to choose from. ,Grandview is just 5 minutes away while Cragun's and Madden's are a 15 minute drive. There is Shopping and brunch in nearby Nisswa along with multiple restaurants and other recreation close by in the Brainerd Lakes Area including water parks and the Brainerd Speedway.
There are lots of great places nearby for dining and we are very close to Nisswa for some shopping.
