Description
Stunning, large beachfront house in Kildonan, a quiet village on the south coast of Arran. All bedrooms, lounge, dining room and sun room have panoramic sea views. The balcony and large, south facing enclosed garden also benefit from the fabulous sea views. There is direct access to the beach via a private field. The house is spacious, sunny and comfortable, with some original features from when it was a Croft, but it is now fully modernized.

“Not the best”

Response from the owner It was incredibly disappointing to hear of the issues you had and I appreciate you acknowledging the efforts I took to address them. I actually bought a damp meter to test the lounge and triple room and went over myself soon after you left to check. The readings were incredibly low (ie there is no damp). I also checked the washing machine, which also worked fine with no smell (other than the washing liquid). The carpets did have some marks on them, but these are thoroughly cleaned at least once a year. It’s impossible to shampoo the carpets between each group of guests. I do now have a new housekeeper, who is doing a great job of cleaning the house well for guests. The same company looks after most holiday homes in Arran, but it does come down to individuals. Thank you for providing your feedback, which enabled me to address the issues quickly.

“Paradise by the sea”
We have just returned after a weeks family holiday. This was our fourth holiday in this wonderful house It is a spacious four bedroom house with all mod cons and ample kitchen utilities.The living room area was more than ample for us all. There are stunning views from all the bedrooms and living room patio doors of Alisa Craig and Pladda and the local hotel is less than a 5 minutes casual saunter from the property. The weather was fantastic and we couldn’t have asked for a better week in a better property. We have already rebooked for next year . We can’t prise the property and location high enough The Currie Family

“Location to die for”
Great long weekend break. Lucky with weather but the best bit was the stunning view from the property of pladda and ailsa Craig. Well set up accommodation with all needs catered for.

“Fabulous house in perfect location”
Really enjoyed our holiday here. The location is idyllic. Could sit in the house and enjoy the views - loved looking out to sea from the cosy front room. And you can pop down to the beach at the bottom of the garden. The house is spacious, warm, comfortable and has everything you need for a family group. We’ll be back!
