A country escape nestled on the River Aherlow, in the peaceful surroundings of the Galtee Mountains. Our 3 bedroom cottage is a recently finished stable conversion and part of our 25 acre farm. It has lots of character and atmosphere, inside and out, with the advantages of modern comfort.

Take in the spectacular views of the Galtees from the cottage or put on your walking shoes and enjoy a stroll in the nearby mountains and woodlands. A small river runs through the property, with open fields and large gardens – perfect for relaxation and plenty of space for kids to play. The cottage is next to our own home, so we can always help out!

By car, we are 5 mins from the N24, close to Bansha village, ca. 15-20 mins to Tipperary Town or Cahir. Centrally situated, many of Ireland's finest attractions are within reach:
• Rock of Cashel – 30 mins/30 km
• Kilkenny Castle – 1 hr 15 mins/91 km
• Blarney/Cork – 1 hr 15 mins/93 km
• Cliffs of Moher – 2 hrs/132 km
• Killarney/Ring of Kerry – 2 hrs/130 km

We had a lot of great time in the cottage, its very modern, full spec kitchen and comfortable living room. Loved the fire and the swing outside. Accessible to local areas, Cahir, Cashel and Tipperary towns on the doorstep. Very wuiet though. Close to many forest walks. Loved this stay and would want to be back soon. Thank you.

How do damage deposits work?
