New Custom 2/2 Home with an extra room or Storage room on 1/2 acre on our Estate.

It is a 1,675 sq ft home 2/2 with Garage and storage room.

This home is also ideal for a long stays or if you are thinking of retiring and moving to Costa Rica. All you need is your clothes here in this home.

We have deliberately incorporated elegance, privacy and security with sophistication.

This home is fully furnished with everything shipped from the USA.

It is decorated in Casual Elegant. It has beautiful panoramic views of San Jose and the city of Grecia. It is 35 mins from the SJO airport and 12 mins to downtown Grecia for shopping and mall. ( Grecia is voted the Cleanliest city in all South America.)

There is a 250 foot waterfall across the street from this home.

The homes are set in a natural setting. If the love of the mountains had its story, it would begin here in Grecia.

We are located up in the mountains 4,800 altitude.

Our weather is all year round Spring Time 68-78 degrees year round.

It's already home to a large group of expats. An estimated North Americans call Costa Rica home. Some live here full-time, others part-time to escape the cold winters back home.

Getting around

We have a guy that will rent you a car by the day for a real fair price or there is an Adobe Car rental right here in Grecia. We also have a private drive that can drive you around to site see. He speaks English and is very reasonable. There are Taxi's and there is good Bus Service also right in front of the Guest Home that run every hour.

Interaction with guest

We are here to service you. We can help you Rent a Car and give you Local information of the area. This home is 500 feet from the Bus station. Let us know if you have any special needs or request. There is a small Grocery store just 4 min walk with a Restaurant up stairs. There is also another Restaurant that is a 15 min. Walk. Lots of Fruit Trees on the property for you to help yourself.

House rules

You can have the maid come in once a week if you are going to have a Long Stay with us.
It is $25 from 10-3. She will change the bedding, wash/ dry linens, clean windows, floors, & kitchen.
There is a $60 Cleaning Fee that will be held from the Deposit. The House
is White glove clean when you arrive.
You will not need the maid the last week you are here as we do a Deep sterile cleaning when you leave.

Grecia is actually very much the center of Costa Rica and reasonable driving distance to most Tourist Attractions. Most of our Renters are longer term and because we try to keep the cost down we cant predict how much electricity will cost for each renter. Electricity is Expensive and it is standard in Costa Rica for rentals not to include Utilities. We pay all utilities but the Electricity as we have had renters run up a $250 Electric Bill a month by being very wasteful. We did give you parents a estimate for Electric and they were informed when they made the reservation. You were visiting your parents for the weekend and I did not meet you as we were in the USA. I dont know how it could have been us that you felt the pressure to keep the home perfect??? We did not tell you to keep the curtains closed all day long. We asked your parents when they arrived, that the curtains be closed in the morning for 2 hours at the high morning sun or take the bedspread off if NO one was going to be in the bedroom. There are 4 different spreads in the closet to choose from. I'm sorry we were not there to explain this to you. You were visiting your parents for a week and I am not sure how it was conveyed to you, but glad you enjoyed yourself. Thank you, GeeGee

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your booking page. To change your dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Geegee (the owner) a message.

If Geegee (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
