Description from owner

Description

Ty Beic is two one bedroom holiday cottages perched on a hill above the tiny hamlet of Sarnau near Bala on the edge of Snowdonia National Park. These two restored stone barns are a magical place to stay all year round providing a perfect base for exploring North Wales.

The Barn is in front of the main house (Ty Hen) and has magnificent views of the Berwyn Mountains.

The living area has a comfortable sofa, dining table and chairs, TV with Freeview and Netflix, DVD/Blueray player, a selection of books, DVDs and games and a music system with DAB radio, CD player and bluetooth. The underfloor heating keeps it warm and cosy.

The kitchen has a hob, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge and all the cooking utensils you would expect to find at home.

The bedroom has a superking size bed or two singles. Your choice. The en suite bathroom has underfloor heating and a shower with plenty of hot water.

Ty Beic has spacious grounds with magnificent views of the Berwyn mountains and farmland. When the weather is fine, you can enjoy a BBQ on your private patio or make the most of the long summer evenings around the fire pit while taking in the view and planning your next adventure. The only disturbance is the sound of sheep and birds.

All guests have access to private parking, secure bicycle storage, bike wash facilities and a laundry which also has a shared freezer. Bed linen and towels are provided.

Please see my listing for 'Ty Beic Holiday Cottages - The Stable' for information about my other cottage.

Nice remote location with facilities within reach. Ty Beic was perfect for us. Great bed and everything else we needed. Karen was very welcoming and there when we needed her and not when not. We especially enjoyed having Jac as our dog away from home.
