Description from owner
Description
Fairlaw Garden Cottage, is a light & very spacious house, set in the grounds of the owners property on a working farm surrounded by beautiful countryside and with far reaching views. It is just a few miles from Coldingham Bay, one of Scotlands loveliest beaches and makes the perfect base for a holiday in the beautiful Scottish Borders. Great walking, cycling, bird watching at St Abbs Head, golf courses, beaches and castles are all within easy reach and the city of Edinburgh is less than an hour away.
Garden Cottage has its own private garden with barbecue & eating area and a separate lawn with, climbing frame & slide. A large paddock is adjacent - perfect for ball games & running about! The house was converted from old farm buildings to create this delightful "upside down house" offering roomy & comfortable accommodation with plenty of space for everyone to relax in peace. It is much larger inside that it looks! The large beamed kitchen/dinning room (35ft) is upstairs, making the most of the views towards the Cheviot Hills and the North Sea. The bedrooms are all on the ground floor, consisting of 1 double en suite & 2 twins with shared bathroom, 1 of the twin rooms has zip & link beds so can be either 2 singles or super king . Homemade bread & fresh flowers await guests who are given a warm welcome by the owner.
