Property for exclusive use

Villa La Commenda is located in the hills just east of the city of Arezzo, near the charming medieval town of Anghiari. Surrounded by large wood groves where all kinds of wildlife live: deer, pheasants, hares can often be seen. The green wood groves are broken up only by farmed fields and by the ginestre flowers which in late spring color the countryside yellow and intensely perfume the air. Formerly the property was a monastery for Camaldolesi monks, then a farmhouse and now restored, it has become a beautiful holiday villa, consisting of four buildings: the villa and 3 outbuildings, one of which is inhabited by the owner. It is surrounded by spacious garden areas full of flowers, where guests can relax in the cool shade, go for peaceful walks, sit around a table and enjoy dining outdoors, play table tennis or relax in a hammock. Slightly above the villa is the swimming pool (12 x 6, 1.50 m deep ) (11/05-15/09) with lighting and is well equipped with deck chairs, sun umbrellas and an outdoor shower. Comfortable and very well-kept Tuscan style furnishings. The property has central heating, air conditioning in some bedrooms and a fan in the other bedrooms. The price includes a welcome basket (jam, tea, biscuits, pastries, juice, oil and salt, butter), Wi-Fi internet connection, a high chair and baby bed, cotton and lace linens, courtesy set in all bathrooms, mid-weekly cleaning in the bedrooms and bathrooms. On request and to be paid for on location: extra cleaning hours, pool towels, lunch and dinner preparation, cooking classes, transfers and van rental, bike rental, picnic in the woods, wine tasting, fishing (equipment not supplied), Italian language classes, a collection of forest products. Parking on the property.

PLEASE NOTE: For a stay of 2 weeks, cleaning of the villa is mandatory after the first week at a cost of EUR 500. It is possible to request up to 6 additional beds when booking, to be paid for on the spot.

In an detached room there is the laundry room (washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board). 1st fl.: (access from the outside): 1 suite with double sofa bed (1.70 m sofa width, TV, air conditioning, mosquito screens), 1 double bed , 1 bathroom with shower and access to a terrace, 1 double bedroom (TV, air conditioning, mosquito screens) with bathroom with shower and access to the terrace, 1 double bedroom (TV, fan, mosquito screens) with bathroom with bath and shower. 2nd fl.: (accessed from a characteristic wooden staircase): living room with fireplace and double sofa bed (1.70m sofa width, TV, air conditioning, mosquito screens), 1 double bedroom with small double bed (1.50m bed width) and bathroom with shower. All the bathrooms are equipped with hair dryers
