Charming log cabin with stunning views over beautiful Loch Awe and the mountains beyond.

The cabin sits on extensive, secluded grounds on the loch shore and provides the perfect location to be at one with nature in an area of outstanding natural beauty.

Cabin has French Window opening onto a raised veranda, with garden furniture. It has many charming features to give visitors a real log cabin experience, with accommodation consisting of an open plan lounge, with dining and kitchen area, two bedrooms and shower room. Cabin is double glazed, well heated and is suitable for use all year round. Wi-fi is free and cabin has a Smart TV with DVD.

The area has a multitude of great walks and trails amid outstanding scenery and there is an abundance of wildlife and local attractions..

A Scandinavian style, wood fueled hot tub is available to guests and is available at extra £103 per stay (includes 3 bags of logs). The perfect way to relax and enjoy the stunning views across Loch Awe. Additional logs can be purchased from our House Keeper. Please be aware that this is a traditional tub and can take several hours (depending on outside temperature) to warm up when first lit.

Whether you require a base from which to explore Argyll and the West Coast of Scotland, simply enjoy the local area or just relax and be at one with nature this cabin provide the perfect location.

We had a great time and definitely will be back. The cabin was so homely and cosy, the views where great and the hottub was fantastic. We definitely will be booking again !

Came to this beautiful log cabin for my partners 30th. Was nice and warm for us arriving, has a well equipped kitchen, the view is unreal, loved every minute and will be back!

Response from the manager We suggest that guests take this review with a pinch of salt, as it contains inaccuracies and lies, as listed below: - Airbnb did NOT refund the guest £200. They refunded £40 only due to cabin not having a shaver point. - Other than shaver point cabin is exactly as advertised. To claim false advertsing due to an error regarding a shaver point is unreasonable, especially as guest has been compensated for such. This error was on Airbnb site only, not Trip Advisor. - The cabin contains new and antique pictures. - The cabin has always been painted white on the interior, exactly as shown on photos. - We did not harrass guest to remove reviews. Trip Advisor removed previous attempt to review property because they considered it to be outwith their guidlines. As the content of this attempt is pretty much the same we are confident that T.A. will remove this review also. - Police were NOT involved and neither would they be interested in this situation, which is purely a civil matter. This is complete fabrication. - There was nothing present in the loch that could kill their dog. They did not book / pay for a dog to stay even, so I believe this is also a fabrication. - There was No hairy mould in hot tub. There is a natural white deposit on the surface of the wood, which is created by a natural chemical reaction between the tanins in the Cedar and chlorine. This has been explained to the guest and is totally harmless and a natural phenomina in all cedar hot trubs using chlorine for disinfection. - NO documentation of police report have been provided. Complete fabrication. -There has been no violation of consumer rights by Trip Advisor. As mentioned above they took down their previous review because it was inaccurate and false. Please refer to our other reviews, which give a genuine and fair view of this lovely property.
