Description

This lovely, completely remodeled home is located in a quite, historic neighborhood overlooking the peaceful Overton Park. The setting is perfect for weekend get-aways, family reunions, vacations or just to relax and enjoy the wonderful amenities surrounding you, all within walking distance. Due to the pandemic, we do NOT allow parties at the location. Maximum # of guests is 8. People travel from all around to enjoy over 50 free concerts a year at the outdoor amphitheater, the Levitt Shell (where Elvis first played!), also the Memphis Zoo (ranked one of the top zoos in the United States) can be viewed from this home, the wonderful Brooks Art Museum (the largest art museum in Tennessee) is also within walking distance. The Park also offers a 9-Hole City Golf Course, entrance to the Shelby Farms Greenline for biking or walking(which is a 6.5 mile biking path and connects midtown to Shelby Farms Park), fantastic new playground and also a pond for watching ducks and fish. Do not forget your picnic basket, frisbee and kite for a leisurely day outside!

The home is very secure with alarm and automatic gated entrance. Very safe neighborhood for walking and strolling to the Zoo, the Levitt Shell Amphitheater or the Brooks Art Museum. High speed internet and Cable TV is offered as well.

The newly renovated Overton Square is a few blocks away with some of the best restaurants in the City! Japanese, Mexican, Cajun, Italian food can all be found in this great area! We would love to recommend some of our favorites! Also, a great place to find nightlife...many bars with restaurants open late and Lafayette's Music Room has great local performers nightly. If you are into theater, Playhouse on The Square, The new Hattiloo Theater and The Circuit Playhouse are located in this area. Also, in close proximity is the Cooper Young area, where there is another wide range of great restaurants. If you are a "foodie", you will LOVE this area as well!

Rhodes College, The University of Memphis, Christian Brothers University, The Southern College of Optometry, UT Medical are also in close proximity.

The Home is also very close to downtown where you will find the world famous Beale Street with much nightlife, Sun Studios, the well-known Peabody Hotel with their famous daily, duck parade, the Fed-Ex Forum where many great concerts are held and the Memphis Grizzlies play, the Redbirds Baseball Stadium, and also the not to be missed the Bass Pro Shop (largest Bass Pro in the United States and located in The Pyramid overlooking the great Mississippi River). One can not leave the City without sampling our world-famous barbecue. The Rendezvous and Central Barbecue are both very close!

The list goes on and on...so much to see and do in The City! This home, however, was remodeled and designed by an interior designer and is a wonderful place just to sit back, relax and enjoy its upscale amenities!

We love our city and hope that you will come and embrace all that it has to offer! Guests have chosen to stay here for college graduations, Parents' Weekends, Football Games, Baseball Games, Basketball Games, concerts, weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, girls' getaways, funerals and other life events. We look forward to meeting you and sharing the southern hospitality that the South is known for.
