Description

With the beach and bustling harbour on its doorstep this historic property is situated within the conservation area of Eyemouth old town and and has been beautifully refurbished to a high standard.

The accomadation offers a large lounge with period fireplace and electric stove, triple bay windows, large leather corner unit (doubles as sofa bed ), smart 40" tv.

The Kitchen/Diner has underfloor heating and fully equiped with electric oven and hob, integrated fridge/freezer, washing machine and microwave, and can seat four comfortably for meals.

Up the spiral staircase to the second floor, you will find the designer bathroom which has underfloor heating, a luxury suite with hydrotheraphy jacuzzi bath, separate power shower, vanity unit and WC.

The bespoke bedroom offers a luxury superking-size zip and link bed (that can be made into a twin on request) ample storage, sattelite TV, DVD player Nintendo Wii, ipod dock.

The owners of the property are both artists so a stunning array of original art work is on display throughout the house.

Things to do: Take fishing and sea safari scenic boat trips along the stunning Berwickshire coastline. Water sports enthusiasts will be delighted with the local dive centre and golfers can enjoy the town's cliff-top course. Cyclists and walkers are also well catered for, with the coastal path route that runs through Eyemouth and leads into Burnmouth, St Abbs and Pease Bay. There are also numerous museums, castles and National Trust properties close by, with the medieval town of Berwick upon Tweed only eight miles away and the cities of Edinburgh and Newcastle within easy reach.

“3rd visit”

The flat hasn’t changed at all since my first visit in 2016. I revisited last year and was disappointed as the flat looked really tired and had concerns at the door lock. My boyfriend and I booked relatively last minute this year and I did have my doubts about returning but kept telling myself the flat was clean so that’s all that mattered. However on entering the smell of mould and damp hit you. There was questionable ‘pee’ marks on the carpet (pee away spray was left in the Livingroom so obviously it’s known about). Shower didn’t work on the last day either and the pressure was so low! I remember raving about how good and powerful this shower was on previous visits. Tv also didn’t appear to be working so just had to use Netflix with the limited wifi So disappointing as I do love this little townhouse , it’s ideal location but I won’t be returning for a 4th visit. I had hoped it would have improved since last year but sadly it hadn’t.

“Lovely Stay in Eyemouth”

Had an absolute fantastic time staying at this property very central to beach, bars and restaurants. Property had everything we required and very spacious. The butchers Dean Mark had an excellent variety of sausages and butcher meat and was right across from us. Plenty of take away places within 5 mins walk Co-op just around the corner could not fault this accommodation and we would recommend without hesitation. Excellent

“Lovely House”

I visited this house back in 2016 and revisited this Easter. I am disappointed that some of the things (underfloor heating and chair in living room) were still not working. Also the front door lock didn’t feel the safest but apart fro that a lovely wee house in a great location.
